master_titled
Well, it could possibly be the mount he made.
sigma3
So do the EBB Airframes come with Picatinny rail adapters? I was going to buy some, but if they're included, I guess I might as well see if they're any good.
Lizzard
Well, it could possibly be the mount he made. Aha, hidden details come forth... I'll certainly report back once my Contour mount arrives. Â So do the EBB Airframes come with Picatinny rail adapters? Rogue845
and ALL parts HKs finest ! Â Is that a 2001 cover? I don't want to spend what Level Peaks are asking for an airframe cover.
druid799
Is that a 2001 cover? I don't want to spend what Level Peaks are asking for an airframe cover. Yup , 2001 didn't fancy paying silly money on a cover for a cheap knock off either . I trimmed a strip around about an inch deep by about 6 long off each side , stuck some extra sticky backed Velcro in side for the straps to attach too , loosened all the mounts off , pulled it in nice and tight behind them then tightened it all up and sorted ! Sigma ; Neither mine or the ones two mates bought came with the rail adaptors . Edited January 7, 2012 by druid799

TerranCmdr
Replica MICH 2000, minus the goggles. Waiting on my dummy PVS-14 Â
Lizzard
I got my OPS Core Contour mount in. While it will attach to the rails on my TMC AirFrame, it pops off without too much force applied; the helmet rails aren't rigid enough.
spetsnazdave87
I'm going to superglue my rail mounts into my helmet rails I think, best way to be sure.
druid799
I'm going to superglue my rail mounts into my helmet rails I think, best way to be sure. I swapped the screws out of my rail blocks with some longer ones and trimmed the locking nubs , solid as a rock now .
spetsnazdave87
ah might try that then, I'm king of the bodge job so sure I could improvise something
rolling-thunder
One of the downsides to the OpCore helmets i discovered yesterday in the lovely Welsh rain. While they are good for air circulation & stop my glass steaming up,the rain just goes straight through the holes on the top & ends up running down the inside of my glasses. Still,i think i prefer that to the glasses steaming up.
CplHicks
My replacement bungees are on the way for my lid. Just need to get myself a cheap contour camera now.

Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
Does anyone know of a place that sells, or has the capability to make, a fake ANVIS battery box? I REALLY want to run an ANVIS on a 2002 for my Army SF kit, and I'd like the box as well, but I don't want to pay $150-200 for something I'm not going to use.
PianoBlack
You could ask somebody with an ANVIS battery box to make a blueprint for you. If I had one, I could probably make a RTV mold and cast a resin model. Â -Piano

PianoBlack
Probably no longer than 2 days from start to finish if you had everything ready to go. Â -Piano
