MrM60 Report post Posted February 9, 2011 Aged the M240, and got the crappy Echo 1 trademarks off. Took off feed tray cover RIS. All I need is a Mag58 flash hider! There is a TM P90 in the backround.

frogfish Report post Posted February 10, 2011 CA? where do you put your battery? Also how do they shoot, I've always wanted one but never looked into it too much.
-Drake- Report post Posted February 10, 2011 Yeah it is CA (SA58-OSW) Small lipo in the front ras or battery box that it comes with. Haven't tested it out yet but externally its a real nice and completely rock solid.
DELTA Report post Posted February 10, 2011 I recently sold my CA SA58 OSW, good little rifle but needs a few adjustments. A small stick like lipo can fit in the front RIS if you remove the fake gas tube running along the top. I ended up using a PEQ15 batt box anyway as i wanted a bigger batt. They perform well after you rewire them, give it a new motor and most importantly it needs the nozzle replaced. A Sig552 nozzle works well and will stop the air loss giving you a much better seal. I also stripped the CA piston almost straight away so that needs replacing also.
clone_ranger Report post Posted February 13, 2011 Tinkering with a woodland set-up for my CA SA58 carbine... This as an alternative to it's usual CQB/FIBUA set-up:

FHairsoft1 Report post Posted February 18, 2011 What mags are you guys using in those SA58's?
Agent Hunk Report post Posted February 18, 2011 CA 1000 round hi-caps by the looks of them. I wish the SA-58 model got more support. I had a full stock with a RAS and the OSW. I wouldn't buy another if it wasn't so hard to source the gun and magazines without paying quite a bit more then a comparable carbine.
FHairsoft1 Report post Posted February 18, 2011 yeah I find it very annoying when a company makes a gun and dosnt support it. I personally wont buy a gun that you cant get midcaps for.
Horsem4n Report post Posted February 18, 2011 you know what they need to make? a GBB FAL. i dont know why i want one, but i do. it sucks that the SA58 is so expensive, would really like one.
