christhesecond
Hardest part was resoldering the connections. BTW the instructions showed the worse way to rewire the EBR... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Had forgotten about that actually. I liked the instructions all though their wiring/soldering directions are dumb. Just use them to get the general idea then do it your own way. It's really not that hard.
webbjay
Picture update! I have sold the RAS now and sprayed the stock and heatshield matte black. I also added some cool harris bipods. I am finally at a stage where I am very happy with it. Will probably keep it like this until a cheap EBR kit comes availible
Spo0k
Really nice gun webbjay, I much prefer the M1A scout look. I want to do something similar with mine. But I dream of a wooden stock other than EBR btw what barrel are you using?
cougar
Thanx christhesecond and DesertFox! Today I ordered the G&P EBR (S) version in black! I use the TM M14 as base. I'm sooo excited right now, cant wait!
Brother Decimus
ouch...http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2675 $220 for the whole gun...Oh well at least your G&P will look nice.
cougar
Would this be the wrong thread asking for some Reel Steel pics of the EBR MK14 Mod0 in action? Id like to see some SEAL, Iraq and Afghani style RS pics (all EBR offcorse). to inspire my conversion.... Edited September 8, 2007 by cougar
Fellowz
look further back in the thread plus google is your freind. btw webbjay - absoultly gorgeous, i really want to shorten my M14 barrel. or are there kits already for it?
Puding
$220 for the whole gun...Oh well at least your G&P will look nice Well its the same reason people buy vfc ak74 and not the 100usd copy, why people by bmws instead of somthing 1/4 the cost, that does the same thing. cougar
Ive read all the 161 pages and want more insperation especially RS pics of the EBR in iraq and afghani. And yea, the clones are not my pice of fruit! Nothing you say will make me buy a clone so.. for me there is a very big diffrense between them (compare the TM M14 to the UTG M14 for example). I like the G&P version and me and my team have a close partnership to a as-dealer which gave me a very very good price on the G&P MK14 Mod0 EBR-s kit.
LORD_SEX
Had my M14 Sopmod with a tan paintjob, and a M14 EBR tan, so i had to change the color, and i painted black again the sopmod. Inside pics: Outside pics:
ardrummer292
Had her for a little under a month, sold her and shipped her this morning: Ah, what a beautiful gun. Shot like a dream, too. I've never had a stock gun that can hit a chest-size target at 150' every time. Alas, I need a support weapon. She's going on to a better home. Lord Blackgoat
Awesome piece there. With a flash hidder, it would be the nicest non-classical M14 I've ever seen, it's actually what I would do if I were to buy one. I especially like the Aimpoint mount and the mag-jobby. What colour did you use?

What colour did you use? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, Evike forgot to ship my flashhider... bloody b@stards. The Aimpoint is the NC Star repro, which means the mount is probably just a 30mm standard extra-low scope ring. The "MagPul" setup consists of a section of 550, melted, and then knotted at each end, with 200mph tape wrapped a couple times around the mag. The base coat was a wide-striped layer of Krylon Camo khaki and Krylon med. gray primer. Then, alternating thinner stripes of Krylon Camo OD and khaki, Krylon Outdoors matte earth, and the same Krylon med. gray primer. Finished with a dusting of khaki, to tone down the stripes' outlines. luvs2shoot
evike doesn't know what they are doing. i've bought stuff from them twice (only directly at the store of course, wouldn't mess with their shipping). and both times they gave me something different i wanted. of course, they ended up giving me a 90 dollar scope instead of the 35 dollar one i asked for. so i guess it ended up being ok.. Fellowz
you got lucky. i really want to know what bi pod webbjay has on his AEG, its gorgeous.
tomster
Isn't that a standard harris bipod?
RaboonTheBaboon
It's a spring eject bipod, attached to a QD bipod RIS Adapter, which I'm assuming is attached to a RIS rail attached to the Bipod nut on the M14... longwinded huh?!
tomster
Kryloned my AGM M14 And here's my CQB setup for it. TM Socom barrel, KM Innerbarrel (ordered), Kydex cheekpad (ordered) and 512 Eotech. Edited September 9, 2007 by tomster

tomster
If only it was that easy to swap over lol. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well it does take a few minutes to be honest yes.
luvs2shoot
it shouldn't be that bad lol. then again i've taken my gun apart about 10 times in 2 days....all because i installed the tightbore incorrectly (it was upside down)...don't ask. haha it takes a good couple minutes to unscrew everything. btw, that CQB frontend + eotech really works! cool
