aznriptide859
Quick question - what is the diameter for trunion rivets for AK receivers? Need to know them so I can get the proper drill bit size.

Airsoft version!!: It seems to bolt down somehow at the back, so it's not as rickety as you would expect. Even more horrifying:

Roecar
All these railed AKs and no one has thought of mounting a Midwest Industries rail. I am surprised.

adadqgg
I am going to be trolling by building my own tactical AK. That tri rail top cover looked like the one on UTG ak...and it looks like SUITCASE! Edited October 18, 2011 by adadqgg

slu
Anyone know what that scope is? No that's definitely an Aimpoint. Just compare to this photo, it looks nothing like a PK-01: Yes there are direct-to-ring 30mm side AK mounts. I can't name the one specifically used in that photo, but here is a US-made example: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=42799/Product/AK-30MM-MOUNT Edited October 18, 2011 by slu

TeowneD
Just bought this fully functional DBoys AK74 with a Prommy tightbore and some red hopup chamber for $5. What to do, what to do... 5 bucks? damn, you are lucky. i'd stuff some nicer internals and leave the classic externals as it is now. thats a sweet buy! -brendan
SteevoLS
It was $50 for an AGM VSR clone, spare bolt, half a gearbox's internals, half of a P90's externals (upper and a rail kit), the AK, a drop leg rig, battery, charger, and 3 mags. Seemed like a sure thing. I am leaning towards the classic externals, except for repainting it. The internals seem pretty solid, even though it is a DBoys. crackisbad
Psh, ain't that the truth! I think I got mine from here for about half of the cost of LCT's: http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67&products_id=219 Externally complete (except for a new muzzle break)! SteevoLS
That would look smexy with a slant brake. I got a milsurp slant brake for something like $2 back when I ordered my wood kits.
crackisbad
haha thanks that's actually what I was planning on using! I have one that I am currently removing the existing paint off it to refinish it and once that is done it will definitely go on this.
