r.ocelot
Question: Where can I get SA styled WA 1911 mags, such as those on the J-Armory FBI Trials?
iZe
A Nighthawk Talon with Recon frame + Action green laser. The old looks of my other 1911. What this pic does not show is a metal Springfield frame & slide. I also have a threaded barrel and a silencer ready for installing.
hkssr20det
Question: Where can I get SA styled WA 1911 mags, such as those on the J-Armory FBI Trials? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know, I don't think I have seen J-Armory mags for sale anywhere. I saw a few at AEX, but they are charging the same as a WA mag (maybe everyone else does as well).
Mathub
Gold match 2 mags are pretty the same as SFA. You can find them on uncompany. The cleaner, I've seen the v10 brass kit, was meant for the mgc, right ? KSC m945 doesn't lack power, it lacks kick. Sig pro is quite tempting with the new SD slide, but something tells me "hey, it"s a KSC, be careful !"
hkssr20det
The Sig Pro is a gun that lacks power. I wish it was a better performer, since those new slides are tight.
Mathub
New grips ! Custom made from cheap cocobolo grips and emblems taken from cheap WA wilson grips. Still need a metal chamber though.
ViciousV10s
Nice Wilson but what's with the Springfield frame?
Mathub
That's the only non-railed frame I could find 2 years ago. Wilson non-railed metal kits are the holy grail. So I made something close enough, I think.
snowman
Pah! Nitpicker That's an awesome looking 1911 and I'm not a fan! Cheers.
ruchik
Oooohhh...shiny..... How did you get that chrome finish on the slide?
Mathub
Polishing paste.
ViciousV10s
Ah gotcha, still looks the bees knees! And that polishing job on the slide is very nice!
ruchik
Hmm-do you think toothpaste would work to grind off the finish/polish it to a luster? The toothpaste I have in mind is a whitening toothpaste with polishing abrasives in it.
r.ocelot
Yup, toothpaste works fine. Note: you should not polish a slide that doesn't have deep trades. Edited August 15, 2007 by r.ocelot

SamJacksonFan
Nice Wilson Guilded, looks kind of familiar to me Damm'it iZe, where the hell did you get this nice Talon? Have not seen, that Western Arms has produced something like that. I'm really waiting for the Night Hawk Customs to come … they are what Wilson back then … sweeet. Is it a special aftermarket kit with metal body and frame … or official serial model out of the factory?
MODDAN
My little darling : Western Arms Colt Government Mk.IV Series '80 based with Prime's Colt Kimber L.A.P.D. S.W.A.T. SamJacksonFan
Beautiful, only the wrong pistol with the right grips If it was a Springfield 1911 G.I. I would be thrilled. But a Colt Government with nice Springfield grips is … ok. At least the logo with the two cannons is on the Colt Government, too. The safety box pays a lot into that nice look. Pitty, the MEUs are the only Springfield marked stock airsoft handguns … oh, I forgot the Marushin Operator. But I guess, the rest of the beautiful Springfields here ar aftermarket slides and frames. You can never have enough variaty with 1911s … give me mooooore

We Swedes have to buy our guns at Swedish retailers because of the gas-gun import ban for private persons. It has the S.C.W. Ver. 3 Gas Blow Back / Hop Up -system and 6,03mm inner barrel.
