comrade5
Kush88, I agree with the others in getting the suppresor and crane stock which would make it more SR-like don't know if it has been said but it would look a lot better with a full RIS nice gun though
TheKurodaVagrant
Kush- that rifle needs the scope to be mounted higher. That scope is painfully low, and that also detracts from it in the aesthetics department. Take Victory's advice. That would make the gun look MUCH better.

101matt1
Plans for the gun: Eotech 551 Replica MAG Midcaps Long run plans: RIS unit PEQ Box Surefire The long run stuff actually may never happen. The original plans though, will. I kind of like the gun unraped.

slayer32390
Well I finally got off my lazy *albartroth* and decided to take a few pics of my weapons. They are absolute ###### though.. better ones to come! Completely stock (for now ) with the exception for a Prometheus tightbore
BentleyCntlGT
Kush, that scope just looks too small for an M16, thats what I was thinking. Also a crane stock would look pretty tight.

GrimGram
Oh, no picture, but as this is the armalite thread, I might as well ask. Does a D-Boys upper fit a G&P lower? Thnx!
Snigel
I don't know if the plastic and the metal one differs, but I couldn't fit the plastic upper to my CA lower (I assume that CA and G&P are compatible with each other, but what do i know.. )
Hullukalle
Oh, no picture, but as this is the armalite thread, I might as well ask. Does a D-Boys upper fit a G&P lower? Thnx! Nope, not at least out of the box. Some filing might help.
evansy
A friend of mine had a Dboys m4 with a metal body and it had the same style of lugs which G&P use so it should fit but I'm not 100% sure as I never tried it. and to keep the pic to talk ratio up heres my CQB/R with a crane stock I prefer my CTR stock Edited January 13, 2008 by evansy
Fellowz
were can one get a G&P metal upper? im looking at just having a few different uppers so i can change front ends rather than dissasemble my entire gun or buy another M4.
TheKurodaVagrant
Sadly, the only way to get an upper is to buy a metal body set. G&P should really utilize their quick change design to their benefit and sell separate uppers. Oh, wait, that would cut down their profits.
ChrisWPA
Wait whats so special about the uppers?
TheKurodaVagrant
They're designed to be quick-detachable for easier access to the gearbox, but that also means that if you have several upper receivers they can be swapped easily. Instead og having just a weapon, you can have a weapon platform. For example, if one has a rear-wired M16 lower, the user could have an upper receiver assembly for a CQBR, an assembly for an M4A1, another one for a Mk12 Mod 0, etc., and they'd all be interchangeable with relative ease onto one single lower receiver and gearbox assembly. It just means that there would be a plethora of unused lower receivers hanging around because of the way G&P sells metal body kits. I was thinking about doing this a few months ago, but it would end up being REALLY expensive and I'd probably buy a Pro-Win gearbox to make the barrel length/compression/muzzle velocity issues slightly easier to deal with.
