bbondaloose
Why is it that anything Russian needs to look really worn down to look good? Worn down Russian equipment>Squeaky Clean American equipment
Lerch
Why is it that anything Russian needs to look really worn down to look good? Worn down Russian equipment>Squeaky Clean American equipment Because Russians never get new stuff, they just keep recycling thier old parts...meanwhile Yanks are always getting new and shiny kit? Abelius
Looks good Pantopes. It's a shame those G&P receivers don't have more a a grey tone though. IIRC Panoptes painted it with matte black. At least my M16A1 receiver is grey like the real one.
Panoptes
IIRC Panoptes painted it with matte black. At least my M16A1 receiver is grey like the real one. If I recall, it was a lot darker than this out of the box. I kryloned it, then sanded, to lighten it some.
Abelius
Yea, the tone is still grayer. At least on my body. http://airsoftbuilds.com/weapon.php?id=

-=OGGY=-
Please get a better pic of that mate; I can't tell if it's tan or canary yellow. The wear looks pretty good though.
ssddismymotto
Its "Modern Desert Tan" with a bit of black mixed in, i just have yellow lighting in my room; but thanks! Edited December 5, 2009 by ssddismymotto
Crocodilo
Its been 6 months or more since the paintjob and its how it looks right now after quite some games and some beating. The paintjob started to peel off, but the original black painting from CA is still fine, with a few exceptions. This white thing is from my last big event. It was raining, i slipped and my gun hit hard a concrete wall, chipping th white paint off the wall....rails aren't damaged at all. This was built like a tank.
-=OGGY=-
It looks like the real article, nice job!

halofanatic333
One thing I never understood is why do this to a pretty gun?
Agent Hunk
So people like their gun to look fresh of the line and others like it to look like its been through hundreds of wars.
Mr Foxhound
And some people like there guns to natural wear because they think artificial wear looks way to artificial. Of course some do it well, but imo, most do not. Though the "used in desert" wear Hunk and A.R.S.E. has is awsome (Lol it censors A.R.S.E.'s name without the dots. Wow.) Curtis G.
One thing I never understood is why do this to a pretty gun? To give it that "used" look. Fingers: Nice job man. -Curtis G.
