justin.kovacs
Paint the rest of the furniture to match the Emod. I like FDE more than khaki/tan.... I think that's just what I'll do.
0nslaught
I think that's just what I'll do. replace the G27 with an FDE MIAD and ya, get a VLTOR lower and a replica VLTOR MUR
Mr Foxhound
I kinda like the the Tan in front FDE in back look... How would you go about painting something FDE? My Earth brown paint is a bit to dark looking to look like FDE. Edited April 28, 2008 by Mr Foxhound

Wupjak
Western Arms M4, needs a couple more bits to get it where I want it cosmetically. Pistol grip of some kind (I'm partial to the Hogues) and an LE stock...or maybe a CTR. We'll see.
aznriptide859
*drools* omg I SOOO want that WA M4 . That thing looks like a beast Just curious, how often to you need to refill magazines with gas? And how much are separate magazines?
Wupjak
It's alot of fun, yes. On semi in warm weather the mag should last 50 shots. In auto? No. Additional mags aren't out separately yet. Spendy, though.
masakarijoe
so it really isnt skirmishable... oh well. im fine with my aeg -Joe
gunaholic336
To bad that WA M4 isn't as skirmishable as it looks because that is one nice rifle.
BoE.Solidius
I bet the WA M4 would work under RED GAS. Red Gas is made for cold weather use, high silicone base mixture. Also allows for 400FPS with .20's. I suggest you get a can of RedGas and try full auto as many times as you can.
aznriptide859
Just curious, what gas source are you using? Top or 134a? And also, is top gas the same thing as GG/Propane? 'Cause that's what someone told me on ASR 0_0
Wupjak
I use propane. Green Gas = propane plus a bit of silicone oil. It's very skirmishable, but it's not a BB hose. Fortunately for me, our field is semi only except for Squad Autos. In that context, it's a fine choice. I realize that's not the case everywhere, so your mileage may vary. justin.kovacs
The "Krylon Camo Tan" was a little too "tan" for me. I repainted everything with a darker earth color: Here is the Vltor E-Mod Before Paint: And After Paint: I'm really liking this darker color alot.
BoE.Solidius
Does that stick justin have a small compartment or does it just open revealing a hole to run straps through?
justin.kovacs
Does that stock justin have a small compartment or does it just open revealing a hole to run straps through? The Vltor E-Mod Stock has a small compartment for storage. It will hold small items such as extra CR123A batteries and such. It also has the tubular storage compartments as well. I will be modding this in the future to hold a crane stock type battery.
BoE.Solidius
Crane stocks are a hassle in my opinion. You should just get the new LiPo 3300 mAh rectangle flat brick batteries and put them in your forearm. Those new LiPo batteries last longer than a 5500 mAh battery and are as tiny as ipod nano's (The old nano's). I can fit almost anywhere, you should give them a shot for only 90 dollars. Hispeed1
Jesus, think your torch is far enough up there longarms? Yes, I suggest moving it back towards the receiver. In the big Arms-they tell you that your nose should be almost touching the charging handle when you hold your M4 to fire it. You will feel less tired if you have that torch grip closer to you-try it, you'll be amazed.
Ochronix
Jesus, think your torch is far enough up there longarms? actually, its in the best place on my rail for the best stability/accuracy. the rail mount is actually only a little piece on the top of that light, so it looks like theres a ton of unused mount on the light hanging off, but in reality its just as far as it goes, idk its hard to explain, but i've tried multiple setups for my rifle, and this is the best that works for me. Weight is distributed better like this aswell, and when I have the light as close as possible, it puts more strain on my arms for some reason. so the mount is really as far forward as it goes, it just appears that I'm only attaching part of it. also in my opinion, it looks better like this anyway.
