Agent Hunk
You'd recommend getting rid of the 1961, chest rig guru? Yes. I know a lot of people really like them but I could never get into them.
validtumoralarm
Ok, thanks for the advice. I'm with you; I really like the aesthetic value that a semi-authentic loadout offers, but functionality always wins in the end. Do you have any suggestions for my rig as it stands? Other than switching my shingle out for a TACO, I guess.
Extraordinaire
And the start of another rig...

Extraordinaire
What rig is the top? Eagle Industries Active Shooter Chest Rig w/ ATS H-Harness. The sewn-on pouches were cut off and MOLLE webbing was sewn in place.

Mr. Jon
I imagine if you try hard enough, you could actually make it cut cookies. Mostly TT, with smatterings of eagle and LBT.

hitmanNo2
Surely it could just go in a standard airmail envelope? It must be what, 0.5mm thick?

Dont tempt penyless people Steevols Thanks though, I will remember the offer
SteevoLS
I just got a shipping quote, and it turns out it would only be about $2 US for shipping. If you can afford that, send $5 US to my PayPal (to cover the nametape itself aswell) and I can send them out before too long.
echodafish
As a fellow SC resident, for at least a little longer, what are you capable of?
Agent Hunk
The 762 Tactical chi-com was a hold me over until after OPP but since it was delayed I had time to get a rig better suited for M4 use. Here's my second line for OPPV. Doing some training this weekend so I will have pictures of me in it with my 1st line and helmet, no BDUs yet, been too cheap. Blackjack13
As it was raining (again...) earlier today and I had nothing to do, I decided to play about with my chest rig. I'm actually rather into thisconfiguration at the moment! Feels a lot more low profile and less cluttered, but needs to be used in field before I'm certain I'll stick with it. Also the green seems real bright in these pics, not sure why... FHairsoft1
Looks sharp! Can you get those in the states? Edited June 17, 2011 by FHairsoft1
TheFull9
Looks sharp! Can you get those in the states? Not that exact brand (unless you imported it from here which would be kinda crazy), but the 901 is the same RRV style design that loads of gear manufacturers make. As you can see with a quick comparison: http://www.uktactical.com/acatalog/Warrior_901_Base_Platform.html http://www.optactical.com/stcoreve.html What blackjack has done there is folded away the bib on the chest rig and then attached a Warrior back panel: http://www.uktactical.com/acatalog/copy_of_Warrior_Centurion_Back_Panel.html Again, Blackhawk (as well as Eagle of course and no doubt some other gear makers) make an equivalent product to attach to their chest rigs. FHairsoft1
CKinnerley- thanks for the info. It just looks nicer than my BHI STRIKE rig Also like the back panel not sure if I like what BHI has for that

TheFull9
After seeing my brothers' mods to his BULLE MLE, I decided to do the same thing to a 2-Piece MAV. Sadly, when it arrived it turned out that BULLE had made some alterations (improvements to my mind) when they copied the design and the internal pouches are wider than the original TT pattern, so I turned my MAV in to a rig for carrying mags for bolt-action rifles and other marksman/precision shooter type weapons, and purchased myself an additional MLE to use with 556 mags.
