luvs2shoot
^ On second thought, YOU win this thread. The P3 M134 is one of the most expensive, most badass airsoft replicas that I know of. Especially with the realistic mounting setup you have, vs. the hand-held Predator setup. The only thing that's missing, is the P3 tracer unit. (Which is 6 TM tracers mounted inside a flash-hider assembly.) -Vic +1 for tracer unit! that's a big gun -Shin
Seraphim989
What is that minigun mounted on?
happy.al
A Land Rover, will dig out a picture of it mounted on top.
babybackribs
A Land Rover, will dig out a picture of it mounted on top. Is it the Landy that Catman uses? And didn't you put a bigger electric motor in the P3 so it has a higher ROF?
happy.al
Yes, it's the same landrover that Catman and Maddog mount the M2 that they made. It means that the M2 and the minigun can be used in the same games, but one of them has to be static (at the moment, might change soon ) Yes, it's been played around with internally, it does have a different motor in it. At one point it had a brushless motor, but was doing about 150rps, it was a bit silly. It's got a more standard motor inside now, still pushing out a really high rof. It's had a few other mods done by the boys too.
Wraith18A
P3 should attempt to copy the new LW50s coming out into service!

Reincarnation...
IIRC, he made them.
Wraith18A
The new lightweight fifty cals? I hadn't seen anything about them. The cycling system would be difficult to replicate I think though.

Badly Browned
IIRC, he made them. Oh ok. Was hoping there were some shorty mags I could buy for my M1 Garand project so i didnt have to remake all my magazines. Oh well
tom lawson
This was originally a Dboys CASV M4 believe it or not. Now there isn't a single part left of it. Nice rifle! I'd recommend wrapping the inner barrel in black electrical tape or similar though, to make it less obvious.
Reincarnation...
I suggest polishing the outside of the inner barrel until it can blind the opfor. If it was one of those Prometheus inner barrel which are silver in color, I think it would go very nicely with the rest of the gun.
Wutang
I actually had that in my old set up. Edited September 2, 2009 by Wutang
Silent_Assassin
TBH I prefer the 2 tone look of the polished barrel. I wrapped my 416's barrel with blue electrical tape (because I ran out of black) to protect the mosfet and wiring under the RIS and it looks pretty good. Josh
Seraphim989
Eh? What are you guys talking about? The only silver thing I can see is the gas tube

-=OGGY=-
Get yourself a UBR. I think it would look really good with the more modern JP stuff you have on their. Edited September 3, 2009 by -=OGGY=-
Wutang
I was actually thinking about switching the stock, although I really like the quality of the CA crane stock and the fact that it could hold large capacity batteries. I was thinking of either a UBR, CTR, Ace, or Socom stock. I need to be able to store a lipo and the mosfet in the buffer tube though.
Vercingetorix
If you find a way to fit a lipo AND a large mosfet (you have an AWS FET, right?) tell me! I'd love to get an Uooo Bee aRe, but I have a Cheetah fet, and I HIGHLY doubt I could fit that and an 11.1v lipoly in a tube at the same time.
Roecar
You could use a Marine stock shorty.

-=OGGY=-
I'm surpized someone hasn't tried butchering an UBR and putting their FET in the little storage compartment. The best option if you don't want to deal with all the MOSFET silliness in to get yourself a GBB .
Seraphim989
Those things are...unattractive let's say I'm surpized someone hasn't tried butchering an UBR and putting their FET in the little storage compartment. The best option if you don't want to deal with all the MOSFET silliness in to get yourself a GBB . Soooo not the place. I suppose you could drill through the back of the buffer tube and put the mosfet in the storage area and the battery in the buffer tube, but it would mean a lot of wires going around Edited September 3, 2009 by Seraphim989

The best option if you don't want to deal with all the MOSFET silliness in to get yourself a GBB . Haha, NO. I hate gas, at least GiM. Especially because I can't abide the WE series and WA's is too expensive/problematic to be worth it. Now a custom Daytonagun classic. Mmmm I could go for that. I'll just have to do with my butchered real steel EMOD and 11.1v 3300mah 35c elite lipo and cheetah Function over form IMHO. And you can't even see the wires runnign the the BHI stock mag pouch. Worth it IMO Edited September 4, 2009 by Vercingetorix
