Rogue845
OK then, as promised, here is my Tanio Koba USP.
BigAl
Jonny, the USP Match doesn't have a compensator. It's a muzzle weight, basically a lump of metal to help control muzzle flip and keep the sight in line for match shooting which doesn't allo the use of compensators. hitmanNo2
Even though a muzzle weight isn't a compensator in the normal sense of the word, is it still not a form of compensator as it trys to keep the muzzle down by weight, rather than by directing the gas up as a standard compensator would do? BigAl
Well yes I guess it is, sort of, but it isn't called a compensator. Swine, spoiling my nit picking!

Cpt. Shadow Fox
Nope, they're .45s. Heres that comparison pic that you asked for pheonix minus the uspc
BigAl
.45 Long Colt by the look of them.
Xantos
Jonny: How much does the compensator weigh?
BigAl
It's a muzzle weight not compensator! It's plastic with a metal weight inside it, which weighs about the same as half dozen pound coins.
Shard
I might just refer to it as a compensator from now on as you seem to enjoy it BigAl , hehe. Nice photos Cpt. Shadow Fox, makes me want a USP .45 even more but I have other plans for airsoft related spending at the moment !

Cpt. Shadow Fox
Well its wonderful eye candy, but I would still choose the Kimber over it any day.
Jonny
Allright, well the HFC 'stylish barrel weight' as HKPRO calls it is some cheap light weight plastic that would proably snap in half if you look at it the wrong way. I'm trying to track down a real one right now, or if not see if I can get one machined using this as a refrence. I originally bought it just for photo sakes because it looks bad *albatross*
BigAl
I am in the process of having a pair made up for me, watch this space Febuary. Edited December 15, 2006 by BigAl
PILMAN
Got my real USP today, I did a side by side comparison with my airsoft USP. They look pretty identical with some markings being different. The real USP is on the right in this photo, the airsoft version is on the left Real USP on top, airsoft on the bottom
PILMAN
Real USP, note it says Alabama however many of the older USP's do infact say Sterling, VA. Serial number blurred Airsoft USP Magazine comparison, Real USP on the right, Airsoft on the left Real USP Magazine in my hand, note the "Law Enforcement Only" these are preban magazines which are 12 rounds Airsoft USP Magazine Real USP magazine/Note that it says .45 USP, no H&K logo appears on the bottom Real USP handgrip Airsoft USP handgrip
BoB SoiL
Nice pics dude Only suggestion I'd make is to cut out the bumph in the photos (i.e. the bits we don't need to see) as the pics are quite large, as anyone on a 56K would be well and truly scuppered (damn near crapped out my Mozilla ) Aside from that, nice to see the similarities of the airsoft and RS
MODDAN
Well, like I promised on page 5, here are a few picks of my USP: Specs: KSC USP .45, Japanese version. Prime metal slide installed. KM High Flow Valves for KSC Pistols are on their way. As well as a King Arms Recoil Spring Guide and Harder Recoil Spring for USP.45. pedrosalas7
pilman, IIRC the US weapons ban(don't really know how it's called) ended in 2004, so you really don't have to say preban magazine, but correct me if i'm wrong. -Pedro Salas.
