trfo2o
Nice response thanks. Well that sounds promising, I don't think i'll ever have the money to buy the kit though (I wish I could). But yea you have a very unique rifle, great job.

amateurstuntman
So most of these are already on the latest aquisition thread but here they are again because a guy asked for an eotech on a civvy aug. it is an old, old school archery one that I got before they stopped doing them so a while ago. the "latest aquisition" was the GG&G accucam.  here goes   And here it is on the grenade launcher Silly really but fun  Hope you like (or hate) these in the right place.  Stunt
Classicx
just wondering, why do you guys buy the 55x eotech? Doesn't it look more or less identical to the 51x, except more expensive? Is it just to be as close to miltary equipment as possible?
Magsz
Classic, some guys actually use NVG's to skirmish with during night scenarios. Â Either that or they get great deals on them second hand.

TheKurodaVagrant
They're not aiming for excess, they're aiming for collector's value. *cough cough* Â That would be my excuse, anyway. Edited October 10, 2006 by TheKurodaVagrant
Krazy L
553 uses CR-123 batterys like surefires and other hi-end flashlights... I know. I have one on the way.
ColSanders
The big claim to fame of the 55x series is their ability to be used in conjunction with nightvision set ups and have settings built in so they can be used properly without a TON of flare up. TheEgo
KWPÂ - nice aimpoints on the side for gangsta style shooting <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â I've actually seen photo's of military or private contractors with a combination of an aimpoint and EoTech with one mounted on the side. Â Gives the user the ability to fire while prone and under cover such as a vehicle. Looks a little dumb and won't really work for airsoft but it has an actually application in the real world. No idea on the effectiveness of it though.
Lord Blackgoat
it is also seen on RS 3-gun rifles, a magnifying scope on top, and a close target sight on the side, so that they just have to twist the rifle a bit to change the optic used.
KWP
Have seen prone shooting platforms with the Armalite lying flat on the deck - the breach being unobstructed facing upwards of course. Makes perfectly sense as this will help maintaining a very low profile. But I guess a single foreguard mounted red dot as close as possible to the front iron sight should work for most shooting platforms.
