ash^
Thank you, but I had a lot of problems with internals, coming from a M15a4. It worked quite well, but strangely everything gone wrong after kit installation... So the internals are fully upgraded. M15a4 : 250 $ Upgrade : 250 $ Prime ML kit : 520 $ Reddot and mount (not yet the Arms one) : 110 $ And shipping costs, etc Another pic : Edited November 8, 2005 by ash^
Hissing_Sid
Somebody show me a picture of a gun which has $1000 spent on it rather than bolted to it. For me, a "$1000 gun" isn't a marui M4 with an Elcan bolted to it along with a Surefire and a PEQ box.
screamin_weasel
i agree with sid. would my DE be a $1k gun if i stuck $900 in money to it ? the only gun i have that is worth that much is my CA249 - but i didnt pay full price for it, so 'technically' it cant be in here. donnie
Im quite happy looking at any pick of a gun thats worth over 1K...whether or not its bolt on or not. Heres the only pics I got of what you sticklers call 1kers ... some san accys Systema m16 - M4 - Barett - PSG1 - SL8 (I think it was over 1K IIRC) The SIG552 and PSG1 are over 1k without accys due to full metal goodness.... rallymad_nad
Somebody show me a picture of a gun which has $1000 spent on it rather than bolted to it. For me, a "$1000 gun" isn't a marui M4 with an Elcan bolted to it along with a Surefire and a PEQ box. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well as the UK has limits, apart from upgrading the internals inc barrel for tighter one etc what else can u do that isnt bolted onto the gun? What is the point to stronger gears etc? A sight has more use that a fancy slide etc. Most things are 'bolted' to or attached to the gun incl different stocks grips RIS etc. Most are just RS replacements which cost more but what is the point. Apart from making it look nicer. I brought mine to perform, not to look nice. Depends which side of the fence ur on I suppose. And tbh I wish mine cost a lot less, some of the prices for bits are a right rip off. If I could have got mine for half the price I would be twice as happy as I am now. Spending more money than needed is nothing to cheer about. Depends what u define as 'bolted to it'also. Nad
Marlowe
I'm not a member of the tricked up Armalite club, so I doubt my contribution will be to popular, but it certainly cost more than 1000 dollars: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a264/St_Dante/rah.jpg Unfortunately the photo doesn't show the weathered effect too well (beyond the restained wooden furniture). Kristoffer
$1745 for the gun. The custom boxmag, MG3 feedtray, co2 rig brings it up to 2k. Shooting it is priceless.
Lightning10
Such........beautiful...........guns! Must.........have......one! those are such beatiful guns, no wonder there all 1K or more! Once I can get a job (pretty much the only jobs a 13 year old can do are chores and babysitting, not exactly the best ways to gain money, especially when you get $8 of spending money a week for your chores and there are no young kids in your neighborhood to babysit), I will have a gun this awesome. So in around 5 years, depending on my high school wages, I'll have one to post. And maybe if I can go to a good college, in 9-11 years I'll post up 3 or 4! Lightning

whiskey_sk
I've posted the pic on some other thread here before, but as it qualifies in terms of price, here it comes. The bottom one, of course. AK-74 with Smokey's grip, Smokey's RIS foregrip, GP quick detach M203 short, systema/guarder internals, STAR AK74 mags, without the nightvision about $1100, with it about $5000.
