IronWolf
edit! - does anyone know any 20mm lasers which work with a switch (ie on/off) rather than a pressure switch, I want lasers but I dont want the wires and stuff cluttering my nice new grips.. btw, appearance is everything, the laser needs to look the mutts nutts <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is a switch activated laser , although it does include a flashlight too. hardboiledcop
heh, i was thinking more along the lines of the g&P 3000x line of lasers, but switch activated..
Sao
How about the KA copy of the M3 torch, they do a version with a laser instead of the lens unit, looks quite cool for a 'cheap' copy. Personally I'd go for a couple of m6x's but they aint cheap and you want 2....
Slug Pellets
It's only very rarely that someone posts pics of their stuff and I wish I had it, but this is definately one of these times. Wow .

Fuser
Got a question for you guys: Is the rear sight on the Marui M1911-A1 made of metal? If not...does anyone make one?
r.ocelot
Nah, it's plastic. I think PGC makes one.
Fuser
They do, but it only comes with their metal outer barrel. Has anyone seen this in stock anywhere or has PGC stopped making i? Edited January 18, 2007 by res0290

MadCat360
Me Warrior w/ Proud Grips (think I'll change back to Tan ones) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Fixed.
CplHicks
Fixed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its a marsoc, not the warrior mate. Warrior has the rail built into the frame.
tangman
what CplHicks said They are quite similar though, iirc the Kimber Warrior was created for the civilian market because there was a high demand for the MARSOC.
r.ocelot
Aye, plus that a MarSOC is quite expensive. Had the chance to get one my self, but the seller's asking price was $1400.
hitmanNo2
Whaaa? A stock MARSOC? I think they added an extra 0 by accident. Aren't they like $160 on ehobby? edit: ah, real steel, that makes more sense. Edited January 19, 2007 by hitmanNo2
r.ocelot
I meant RS, sorry.
elsermana
Pretty sure they go for $190ish. Dentrinity has a $160 deal for a bit but of course that went out of stock really quick.
hardboiledcop
Here's a little sneak-peek of my new 'Crotch-Walnut smooth polished grips', needed a little modification to the inside of the grips but I like the look, slightly darker than I expected but it's growing on me. I'm sorely tempted to get a couple of these since the rubber grips are mighty comfortable, but I wanted real wood in there somewhere Strange how Arnies is the closest thing to natural lighting I could find cheers, hbc. Philip Aram
Hey i have a Kimber warrior SCW version 3. I want to use green gas but i know it will ruin my slide. So can anyone tell me what metal slide to get for my gun? does it matter which version my gun for the slides to fit? Thanks. Nevermind Hitman already answered my question thankyou:D Edited January 21, 2007 by Philip Aram
hardboiledcop
I want to use green gas but i know it will ruin my slide. No you don't. Because it won't. The reports of WA's slides breaking in stock form are overhyped, I have fired all my WA's on green at one point or another for extended periods with no damage at all. What could happen is the slide notch will wear away and your gun will stop locking back on empty.. but this will happen over a period of time. If the slide does crack, then you can merely replace it when the time comes.. pretty much any metal slide for WA SCW 1911's will fit, however you must pay attention to the sights and how they attach, unless your new slide comes with its own sights. cheers. Philip Aram
Oh ok i see thanks. Will the black metal MARSOC slide by shooters design fit?
snowman
You CAN break ABS slides on anything with green gas, but you won't if you're sensible about the temperature you use it at. Cheers. Edited January 21, 2007 by snowman
