Would take a helluva lot of paracord to make a sling though.
sekiryu
It ain't much.....yet: Hurricane battlegrip is up first, because the standard grip hurts my hands
The Crunchy Bunny
How's the RIS wobble? My friends is the model with the HK417 crane stock and the RIS wobbles like a *badgeress*.
sekiryu
Mine wobbles like a *badgeress* too. The rails are a little wider than normal, I had to use alot of force to get that vert. grip on. According to my caliper, they're ~0.10mm larger than they should be.
luvs2shoot
damn those TM two piece barrels!!! argh i had the same problem...once. i got a CASV now. hehe
sekiryu
We're talking about RIS wobble, not barrel wobble
luvs2shoot
woops! lol. read that wrong well i guess when the whole barrel is wobbling..then ris on it "wobbles" too. or at least that's the case with my TM M4
Guinness
That's a pretty damn nice sling. this method? http://www.instructables.com/id/EL5S5IADTYEY95S32O/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks man! No I didn't use that one, but the method is the same. I didn't want it to be too perfect, as I use it it will look more and more worn and tattered. It's really easy, its getting started that's the hardest lol, now I find myself braiding all kinds of things with the left over cord lol. BP-anon
And is that a barrel cleaning rod taped to your beautiful m16?
Guinness
Yes sir that sure is Apparently G.I.s were so wary of the early models that they took to carrying them on the outside, I dont know if that was to make damed sure they had them when needed or what. Most likely it was because they hadn't received the later model stocks with the trap door for stowage. AR15.com is a good source for pics of old M16s Slainte! -G
Abelius
I understand the logic, but wouldn't it be amazingly cool if the cleaning rod was an actual real M16 cleaning rod instead of an airsoft one? God that M16 is beautiful though, always loved the early ones instead of the modern ones.
