Echo 2
No trademarks at all, except the caspians versions. Performance wise not the best, good for the money but definately not as good as TM. Not fully compatiable with a TM 1911. Lower frame of the WE is based off of the Hi-capa. In short, get a TM or WA. Will do, then. Of course, I gotta get some more mags for my SCAR first. Just wanting to know ahead of time.

If you mod them they will be fine. For example you can tape the o-ring to get more shots, and tape the inner barrel against the hopup so it will be more accurate. I know the TM 1911 is better but I preferred the 1911 tactical, so I now have a WE 1911 tactical. BUT if TM would have made a 1911 tactical, MEU, kimber etc I would buy TM in a heartbeat. DarkLite
Well, I just finished sexificating my BELL M1911 - a clone of the TM. Here's some pics - I'll try and get better ones tomorrow when the sun is up.       It's hard to see, but I've done it in Gunmetal to make it look, well, metal, and the controls are in matte black. It's got a very subtle two-tone effect going on that works really well. You can't tell it's not metal till you pick it up. Edited March 2, 2008 by DarkLite

echodafish
Figured this would be the best place to ask this. If I get a TM 1911 with a trigger guard mounted rail, does anyone know which safariland holster would work for it? I know it depends on the light, but what base gun would I use. Romulus
That's a beast of a 1911. Â How has the TK slide spacer worked out for you? I have been thinking about getting one to test but never end up getting around to it.
RacingManiac
seen that on ASC before and it was an awesome piece, but IMO if you endup going with the Hi-Capa slide it might be worthwhile going with the SD slide/bushing/1911 barrel route to get that 1911 look for the Snake's pistol.... 1st_shooter
Im so pleased with how this now looks i have kryloned the grips and rubbed down the gun to give it less of a damn shine, and also fainlty hi-lighted the trades. so it looks so good now in the flesh! But for £50 im happy but as i dont have any ammo i have yet to see how it performs. Marushin detonics 8mm
