The Crunchy Bunny
But they can be - all you need to do is superglue/epoxy a small shim on the magazine under the lip that the mag catch engages - it's about a mm or so too shallow on FAL mags to allow the SLR catch to retain them. Done right (a bit of trial and error), the mags will work happily with both KA's FALs and SLR. Besides modifying them, anyone got a link to L1A1 mags? Unless I can find a KA regular FN FAL, I'll have to use a L1A1 for my Rhodie Impression. That or a Sten.

mikoyan99
Folding Stock FN FAL with scratch built scope mount: Meant to look a bit more old-school in a DMR needing, RIS rail phobic team! Not spot on, but quite close. The little bits of RIS that are showing will be filed down, epoxied etc, and the bolts need replacing, but otherwise it's rock solid, and looks the business on my mates longer FAL. He also has the steel handguards shown below on hid, purchased for the princely sum of £2.50 -Matt Edited April 20, 2010 by mikoyan99

The Vainguard
I'm usually not partial to FN2000's but that paintjob is perfect... Excellent job!! Edited April 22, 2010 by The Vainguard
DarkLite
It's not a paintjob. It's one of those ACM Multicam netting scarfs superglued carefully to the body.

TheMerchantOfVenice
For all the JLS FN2K owners, how are they? I really want a FN2K, but I'm not sure how much the G&G one will be (if it's over $300 it's a no-go for me, unless I can grab one used which I doubt) How bad are they (externally and internally) because I hear they suck. And to those waiting for the G&G FN2000, any idea on price/release date?

Their SCAR was a disaster. I returned mine after 2 days. I can't expect their F2000 to be any better, considering it is an original design too. I expect the G&G F2000 to be worth it, even if it is over 300$.
