Short Stack
It's slightly sad that you put boxes around the trades. It makes the gun look 100x uglier and you 100x snobby.
PlasticMag
In reality all you'd box off is the serial numbers (if you were to follow Army guidance)... Nobody cares about the trademarks but airsofters.
aznriptide859
That's why you need engraved trades First attempt at free hand stripe painting

Nobody cares about the trademarks but airsofters. QFT! My actual AEG has only the grip painted as i changed stock and handguard recently, so no pic worthy, but when I paint one of my replicas, i like it fully painted and not showing off trades... -MOOSE-
And because airsofters care so much, it keeps up the resell value when you keep the trades intact, even if painted, and especially if painted so well as Nor has done. Good job!
T3CH
To me the boxes round the trades/markings are ugly and spoil the effect of painting it in the first place, which is a shame as that is a nice camo job. I really like the use of the light base colour with the fishnet masking, then BAM ugly black box random shape! Edited July 24, 2010 by T3CH

I'm sure he'd be interested.
Bando
slightly off topic but the yanks are spending millions on camo gear and tan weapons and LBE why is he wearing red boots?
Whitehawk
Maybe those are something he has purchased himself. It aint too uncommon that civilian hiking boots have non-military colours on them.

aznriptide859
Pretty much done, besides a 2 pt sling. Got the the Angle-Locs on Saturday (shame I wasn't able to get the RDS on before my weekend OP), and also made a few paracord sling mounts. Gun received some nice wear and tear during the weekend; going to have to put my "keep-in-pristine" syndrome and try to give it as much wear as possible.
