PianoBlack
Just some real steel results to backdrop the replacement sidearm (hence my GLOCK sale). It's my first time shooting 9mm in a long time (Maybe 2 years?) so kinda rusty at 7M. 10rnds fired from their rental P229 in quick succession (Superior Pawn doesn't allow rapid fire) with one unlucky outlier. I need to go shooting more. -Piano.
NegativeCambre
That IS a little rusty from 7M :-P Good looking 226. If I have to shoot 9mm, G17 or Hi-pow all the way!! Steve

whiteknight
amateurstuntman where did you get the long mag in the sig 550? thanks
amateurstuntman
I answered that over PM but if anyone else is interested it is a 30 round mag I made myself out of two 20 round mags. Looks good, only holds about 40 rounds, has one or two feeding "issues".

I end up shooting once every 6 months due to my schedule at the range that lets me rent their P229. It's a KJW P229 in the picture though, despite what it seems. -Piano. SamJacksonFan
wwjkc, is this the Blackwater-Metal-Kit on your Sig next to the laptop? Because I cannot remember a normal metal kit with front serrations. Looks pretty cool.

Romulus
Smashing pictures. Have you figured out a way to make these cycle well with metal slides?
Jonny
Not at all, they need so much more grinding time, the silver one is getting better, but still needs major work. I hate Shooters Design slides with a passion. Chances are these guns will never work lol.

davedawg123
Beautiful pics Jonny, as usual. I hope KSC's SP2022 is worth a damn. And of course if it is, the SD slides probably won't be compatible and it will take years for ones that are.

Baptiste
Also, what MOLLE mag pouches do you guys use for your SIG 550/551/552 mags? An old question that was left unanswered which I would also like answered. I'm thinking of getting the JG 552, anybody know if its good or not.
amateurstuntman
I use two mags snapped together in a 3 mag pouch. or 3 mags snapped together in the 4 mag holder in my Arktis advanced chest rig. It's a bit loose but it doesn't bind when you withdraw them. The other thing you have to think about is that they are short so you have to put something in the bottom of the pouches. I use a little bag of bbs.

amateurstuntman
Yeah, STANAG pouches. You can get 2 in a 2 mag pouch but depending on the manufacturer it can be quite tight and you might have trouble withdrawing mags in a hurry.
