  1. SLR 8" SBR build done. Just waiting for a few accessories (sling end plate, AAC Blast Shield, Cloud Defensive LCS, and an actual working ScoutLight head) and repairing my BTC Spectre, but otherwise all done. All accessories are real steel except for main body components and the fake MRO.

  2. Hey all! I kind of stumbled upon this thread by accident while searching for M16A2 receiver markings on google and saw one of Catgut's amazing VT's. Which brought me here I have been working on a Viper Tech M723 "Operation Gothic Serpent" clone for a while now and just recently got a more period correct carry handle scope mount installed than my previous A.R.M.S. #02 repro. This was a MGW Weaver mount that I bought from Brownells EU that turned out to be slightly too wide for my Viper Tech carry handle "gutter" and needed som fitting. Luckily I know a gunsmith and I took it to his shop j

  6. Something a bit different: WE M14 (with Ra-Tech trigger group) inside a realsteel TROY S.A.S.S. (Semi Automatic Sniper System) chassis. Very nice high-end chassis, CNC aluminum, the M14 needs a few adjustments, the trigger box doesn't fit in flawlessly yet. Will see how to fix that.

  7. I resurrect this thread to post a WE Apache, to which I fit a surplus German SEF trigger housing and original slimline handguard with no modification to the airsoft parts and a lot of swearing and Dremeling to that trigger housing. I even had to redesign how the selector switch locks into the trigger pack, because the normal catch on the selector pin was hitting the stop catch in the trigger pack before it could reach the FA position. Anyways, now it works, and since the airsoft guts were unaffected it's 100% reversible if I want the Navy pack back. I also scored an original Surefire grip

  12. Come in, Cooper, do you copy? Cooper, do you read me? Forget about Freeman, we are abandoning the base. If you have any last bomb targets, mark them on the tactical map. Otherwise, get the hell out of there. Repeat, we are pulling out and commencing air strikes. Give us targets, or get below.

  13. Getting there, slowly. I call the shell done. Now time for internals... I don't think that You can go any better with regular AEG gun, not using RS parts - in terms of external finish and similarity to real stuff. Brief parts list: - King Arms Colt marked receiver set, cerakoted in-da-house (I do what I must because I can ) - steel magazine catch and selector lever (G&P and King Arms) - VFC CQD sling mount (in courtesy of intinerious) - C&C Tac Geissele Mk16 rail (yeah, HAO is better, so I stashed it for possible MWS build ) - C&C Tac Geissele ACH - Madb

  15. Long time no see. While im still here i might aswell post something. One of my latest build, a Zastava M70AB2. Base out of a LCT AEG and added real parts from a real gun i shopped down to a legal parts kit to bring back home. A nunchuck battery is hidden and custom fited in the lower handguard. So that the real bolt carrier can be racked. Instead of listing whats real and airsoft i made a pic, simply showing how much it is. All real parts are genuine Zastava, used in the balkan war. 16. Hey again all! I've made some changes to my rifles since the last time I posted any pictures so I though this was as good as an excuse as any to post some new ones You will see two replicas; a Viper Tech M16A2 (M703) with a real M203 heatshield/leaf sight, real A2 stock and a real A2 pistol grip combined with a G&P M203 underbarrel grenade launcher. The other one is a DNA M16A1 (M603) with a real USGI contract Aimpoint "gooseneck" scope mount, reproduction A2 handguards and a HWO Aimpoint M2 reproduction along with a real surplus M1 nylon web sling. I tried taking better p

  17. Family pic, let's call this "evolution of old school Armalite replica models" Can post detail pics, if anyone's interested, just let me know. Left to right: - MGC M16A1 modelgun 1st Gen, late 60s, full metal, not entirely accurate replica, has that famous screw holding together upper and lower instead of a forward assist, internally completely different than a real AR - MGC XM177E2 modelgun 1st Gen, same series as the M16A1 - MGC M16/CP (M16A1), PFC modelgun, probably early 80s, a lot of plastic on this one and no authentic markings, but otherwise faithful copy

  21. Just when everyone thought I was done messing with PPS shells. Not really sure if this still counts as a shotgun since it doesn't technically shoot bbs. Instead the whole vog body is launched, though rather anemically. Will work better with APS CO2 shells no doubt, or maybe I'll install inner barrels in a few of them to shoot bbs just to mix things up. Firing vid https://imgur.com/5MyBqwi

  28. Hopefully this isn’t heresy, here’s my latest DMR build. KJ Works KC02, gutted and refitted with Rogueworx internals. Stuck in a Samson B-TM stock and given a custom turned tapered outer barrel. Run on the HPA adaptor at 170psi it makes a great noise with the steel bolt installed. In the pictures is an Alu bolt that I’ve got set up for slightly lower DMR power rules (1.8j vs 1.5j)

  29. Finally got something that had been on my list for quite a while now. And to boot, it's the gun of a deceased friend, which he had sold off prior to his death and which has now found its way to me on mysterious pathways 😌 Hephaestus HTS-14 Groza, 1st version, with the early full steel silencer and a Pilar scope (civil version of the military scope, that belongs on the Groza but is extremely hard to find), Just need different mount rings, these look aweful. Really happy about this! ☺️

  30. WE P38 and P38K, externally refinished and fitted with real grips to make a P38K and a P1. It's funny, the real P1 was an aluminum-frame revision of the P38, so WE's use of aluminum for the frame is actually correct. But then they never made a version of their P38 with P1 markings. And the finish is a satin black rather than the deep glossy blue of the real thing, so I had to adjust it a little by adding a touch of blue and polishing with acetone to gloss it up. Also their P38K is based on a fake P38K derived from a P1. Comes with P1 grips and has a top cover and safety, real P38K ha

  31. Something I've been hunting for quite a while now: Hudson IMI Jericho 941 GBB, silver version Very rare gun from the early 2000's, uses the Maruzen GBB system from their P99. One of only 3 airsoftguns Hudson has ever built and the only GBB of this pistol. Had to install wood grips on this (they're almost drop in, just have to remove a little from the heightened wood part on the inside, so that it fits the pocket of the frame), back then I only found ones with the newer "IWI" name. Recently found ones with "IMI", they're on their way now Surprisingly tight me

  33. I had the same dilemma and converted the carbine.the rifle is the better gun of the two in standard form and so the carbine became relegated to being a spare. Once the gas system was fitted, it was transformed.

  34. AC Unity 60 Rounder modded to take GHK internals, got it half price as it has cracked windows. Still work in progress, physically fits but don't dare test fire just yet until alignment is good. Once that's done, will look into expanding BB capacity and potentially even gas if it requires it. (Probably not necessary given default mag already goes through far more than one fill and I'm unlikely going to be able to double capacity. Helped by @Bada Bing's video for general mag mod tips, so thanks for that.
