hitmanNo2
Nice Tiki Milan. Will you be polishing it like your other one?
TheFull9
Yes we have all seen the unholy abomination cool-breeze evidently hasn't, not enough times for me anyway. As for the holster / 1911, how tight is the fit? I mean i have used mine in a Fobus and never has even the slightest ding appeared on any of my 1911s, let alone those kind of scrape marks Not tight at all, it just scrapes when you insert since the the SERPA plastic is absolutely solid, no 'give' in it at all. Doesn't bother me to be honest, if it breaks I'll just buy another new one, but as it is I quite like the wear.
FireKnife
Fair enough, with my old work horse i wouldn't mind but with my Night Warrior Custom i would. I think that a new 1911 looks better with little wear but an old one needs to look batter and well worn. cool-breeze evidently hasn't, not enough times for me anyway. I am sure somewere an AK purist is pushing a picture of that 'thing' into a fan 'FireKnife'
cool-breeze87
That AK looks awful. I prefer the classic ones, the AK47S and AKMS. I've got a Real Sword Type 56-1, it's beautiful
emp3ror86
Oh really? And why is that then? It will have something mounted on it, plus it had other uses for me. 'FireKnife' You misunderstood me, I did not mean that to rails on pistols. Marui made that rail mount to wide, you need to dremel it to make it able to fit anything on it. TheEgo
Trying to play without a tac light is hard work. Might as well use something aesthetically pleasing Tokyo Marui MEU. Metal Frame and slide. VFC 310 converted into a 610 with genuine Surefire L60 lamp module, and also added the pressure pad switch.
hitmanNo2
Something a bit different. Wilson FBI Trial with SD barrel and slide with Alumagrips.
Arghoslent93
Nice. I had an FBI Trial up until about a year ago. Beautiful pistol.
cool-breeze87
Hitman that is a gorgeous pistol.
hardboiledcop
Something a bit different. Wilson FBI Trial with SD barrel and slide with Alumagrips. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm12/versus_terminus/Airsoft/DSC01134.jpg damn you Hitman. do want!
PianoBlack
You've just thrown a wrench in my 2011 project, Hitman. I was going to go the 6.0 SVI route, but after seeing your 1911, I'm thinking a hybrid looks a lot sexier. -Piano
Mobius Strip
Something a bit different. Wilson FBI Trial with SD barrel and slide with Alumagrips. Nice Hybrid Chris, don't see those too often. In fact that may be the first Wilson Hybrid I've seen Edited June 8, 2011 by Mobius Strip
Mobius Strip
Here's some Western Arms SCW2/3 "single stack" 1911's. All have metal slides and frames courtesy of Prime, PGC and Shooters Design. SCW3 uppers, with a mixture of SCW2 and 3 lowers. All are in a pair of sorts, except, ironically the Punisher 1911: AMT Longslides Springfield Armory V12 & V16 Colt Gold Cup National Match & Bob Chow custom National Match Colts of World War 1 & 2 vintages
hitmanNo2
A beautiful collection Matt.
SamJacksonFan
Very nice collection. The ported model above is very sweet. Well, I've received some nice little shipment of grips, so I took the chance and made some pictures of my current 1911s (2 Marui MEUs with G-Code, a Marui Kimber SIS with Bianchi Accumold, WA Wilson Combat DSD with Uncle Mikes):
cool-breeze87
Very artistic looking photos there. They look awesome.
TheFull9
Maybe try and avoid showing the bases of the dummy rounds, the strike marks on the percussion caps give them away a bit. Awesome photos though, fantastic lighting.
SamJacksonFan
Thanks. I did not intend to make it look real steel, I just placed the rounds for decorative matter to get a nice scene. Well spotted
Payne06
Does anyone know if the VFC V1911 Light will fit a real 1911? I just sold my last 2 Surefire 610Rs and already miss them.
FireKnife
I don't see why not, as your in the States if you can find a local shop that sells them i am sure they wouldn't mind test fitting to a real 1911 so long as you phone up and arrange it beforehand. wolfgeorge
Here's my V12's WA 1911 based with Prime kits. Wolf
cool-breeze87
Some very nice 1911s wolf. The silver one is very nice.
Voodoo1
Latest kit - first thing was obviously to get rid of the GCU grips with black kimbers. Quite like it but previous owner over lubed the hop, so needs cleaning to work betterer
Spud2054
Another one to my collection
SamJacksonFan
The Nightwarrior is a nice 1911 model. what a pitty Marui made shortcuts with this stupid screw-on rail and put this strange marking on the slide. Kinda ugly. Sights and stainless bushing are nice details on this gun. And the kick of this GBB must be quite strong what I see from clips. The workover of the grips looks interesting.
