Souske
The WA's I've seen on here are really nice. Argh...why couldn't they be metal though? My WE1911 with a gray finish I put on there to try to make it look 'Springfield Armory'-ish
Plymouth Roadrunner
VERY NICE! Best WE Ive seen, ever! I like the tan grips, I may just have to do that when I get my MEU. A little darker would be good for a Woodland Environment. As always, VERY nice Souske.
Souske
Thanks! Yep, the grips are a little bright for woodland, but I like the contrast and the "MEU"ish look to it.
hkssr20det
You refinished it? That is just about the color of my WE Tactical:
Souske
Woa, nice grips. Grey's a bit lighter than the original black finish. You took your picture of your 1911 (a nice one I must add) under brighter lighting than mine.
junoske
Polished the parts up a bit on my TM still dont know if i really like it but with a full length recoil rod silver outer barrel and a skeleton hammer think it might look nice
snowman
The WA's I've seen on here are really nice. Argh...why couldn't they be metal though? Because Japanese law doesn't permit all metal airsoft pistols... Simple as that. Cheers.
jimel
I never knew WA hammer spring housing is compatible with TM one? It fits with a bit of modding. Guide rails needs to be filed down 1cm or so. I ran my TM 1911 stock with pachmayr grips for a while. It's a nice look. Did you have to do any modding to the RS thumb safety? Yeah, couple minutes with a dremel. Little bit of material removal is needed.
nine
http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o222/ju...GunsPics003.jpg real gunner grips would look nicer
Rcas
Mine but not my creation.. the cleaner was selling a compact 1911 and i knew he had a spare Tommy Franks Slide so i sent him a message asking how much for the gun with the TF slide instead of the SD one he was selling. Gun arrived just after the holidays. First picture is one he took before shipping it off. The rest i took after i got it. Prime Tommy Franks Slide WA Springfield trademarked frame Black Defender Ported barrel Rosewood Grips
SamJacksonFan
real gunner grips would look nicer … and cost a hell more But shure, Shimoniks gunners grips look really nice. Nice Tommy Franks model by the way … sexy so to say. But definitely a collector's piece (and therefore well for me … muuuuuust have! ).

RacingManiac
Someone else pointed this out in the tech forum(and I can confirm as I almost ordered it), TK has a set of 1911 control out on WGC, includes a beaver tail grip safety, a silver egg hole hammer, mainspring housing, and ambi-safety lever....$66 USD for the whole set... Romulus
I just saw that the other day too. It's a bit disgusting since I just went to the trouble of doing most of those things with lots of custom work. O well.
FriendlyFire!
Yep I just paid for those parts lastnight !
CplHicks
I've placed an order for them and just waiting for a quote from them.
krame
You guys definitely need to post some pics, cause that beavertail kind of looks like it won't work with sharp governmet tang on the frame. Only reason why I haven't ordered a set too.

felix4536
Whoever gets the TK parts set needs to review them for us. I almost ordered them last night.

SamJacksonFan
Yes, that's the new Springfield TRP Custom model by TK. He goes 1911 now after his brillant hicapa custom series. I'll build one, too, if I have the chance. ABS is fine for me if the markings are allright. I don't need metal kit as collector and blinker He has a hot version of the Les Bear as 4" single stacker, too. And a 4" version of the TRP … damn smart move to bring out the beavertail kit now … was time!
RacingManiac
might be worth spending money on those....the color is right too for my purpose.... next batch of purchase then....lol
hkssr20det
Yes, that's the new Springfield TRP Custom model by TK. He goes 1911 now after his brillant hicapa custom series. I'll build one, too, if I have the chance. ABS is fine for me if the markings are allright. I don't need metal kit as collector and blinker I asked around for that kit awhile ago, no one outside of Japan could source it for me. If you find a contact let me know. I would prefer a TRS myself...
