karrektor
Fairnuff somegirls but Its a first go at designing and building parts myself and as good as the hicappa are I like the 1911 frames. Ok the magwell is a bit larger than the vickers but mine only cost me a pint for the metal and well the comp will be unique when its finished

Revenge Seeker
Personally I think the rail is one of the main plus in my Desert Warrior. After all it is "tactical"..

BigAl
man i want one of those desert warrior's but will they fit a 1911 SERPA holster? Of course they will, once you remove the rail. WA has a far cooler TLE/RLI coming out. http://www.wa-gunnet.co.jp/product_info.php?products_id=374 Edited September 25, 2009 by BigAl

Retro-Cow
Thanks Guys Parts are as follows WE 1911 MEU. -Pachmayr American Legend Grips. -Nine Ball Recoil Spring Guide. -Had to drill a hole in the original WE spring plug because the Nine Ball one was a tad too long and broke my Bushing. Also I used the WE Recoil Spring as it was stronger than the NB one. -Polished Controls and Slide Other than that it's stock.
felix4536
any shorty 1911's being crafted??
BrooklynBorn
Of course they will, once you remove the rail. WA has a far cooler TLE/RLI coming out. http://www.wa-gunnet.co.jp/product_info.php?products_id=374 Yeah, I LOVE <3 the look, but it's not full sized. I like full sized Kimbers a lot more. I don't know why. The TLE line needs a revival. And SD needs to make more WA slides.
Lerch
Got some new parts for my WA today... Wood grips, new return spring and a black bushing...I like it
Clockwork_O
weird combination... but I like it! Congratz, I am sure you love your WA
SamJacksonFan
Nice one, maybe a bit darker and less reddish grips might suite the overall looks better.
Lerch
Nice one, maybe a bit darker and less reddish grips might suite the overall looks better. The grips aren't actually as red as they appear, that was just from the flash and some lighting touch up I did.

elchinator
Does the finish on the stainless look that good in person? Yes, it does! It's a matte chrome, really close to stainless steel. Edited September 30, 2009 by elchinator
