When you are out in the woods, or the desert and the rain or sun is beating down on you and your team, you need to be able to setup a shelter quickly to give yourself shade/rain protection, or cover your gear from the elements. 0241 Tactical’s Basha (British for Shelter) is the perfect solution for those moments. 0241 Tactical has created a large shelter/tarp that can be used for a variety of sheltering options. When you receive your Basha from 0241 Tactical, it is a small ziplock bag, which shows you how small you can pack this item down when storing it in your gear. Once you lay it out onto a flat surface, you will see 8 tie down points made from one inch webbing across the 59″ x 90″ tarp. The material itself is made up from a water repellent nylon that is breathable and treated with a DWR (Durable Waterproof Repellent). This allows the Basha to act as a shelter for those times when you need to be able to stay in the woods or the desert and you did not bring your camping supplies. Just use some 550 Cordage or small poles and the trees around you to make a small shelter for the the night. Another option is to use the Basha as a covering for your equipment. If you are able to make camp, but still need to protect your equipment, you can use this large tarp to cover them over.
