Airsoft Outlet NW have been checking out the KRYTAC and WarSport LVOA and comparing the Tactical Tailor Urban Operator with the Fight Light modular operator pack:
In addition to the KRYTAC Trident AEGs, KRYTAC and KRISS Group have a number of other licenses that will contribute to their line of training rifles. One of the big names associated with KRYTAC is WarSport Industries. WarSport is famous for the LVOA, or Low Visibility Operations Application SBR and Rifle.
The real WarSport LVOA is designed with some pretty specific features in mind, but one major thing will carry over into the airsoft version: it looks super bad-ass. The original rifle was often equipped with a Magpul UBR stock, but is also currently being offered with a more traditional crane stock.
In order to reduce visibility, the LVOA comes in Foliage Green with some black accents. We expect the replica will match the color scheme of the original.
Without any word yet from KRYTAC, it’s hard to know exactly what the WarSport LVOA airsoft gun will be equipped with. However, it should feature a free float rail with the unique cut-out at the muzzle and a recessed flash hider/muzzle brake, like the real one. Whether the bungee system threaded in the handguard will be included is yet to be seen.
Since the WarSport LVOA runs a cool $3,000+, most folks will never get the chance to own one. A KRYTAC WarSport LVOA training replica, however, should be much more affordable, and will not only be attractive to enthusiasts of the rifle, but will offer a training variant for low-cost shooting that may appeal to owners of the original.

In this review, we’re comparing the Urban Operator Pack to the Fight Light Modular Operator Pack.
First off, the standard series packs are constructed with 1000D Cordura, making them extremely abrasion resistant, if a little heavier. The Fight Light series packs are made with 500D Cordura and are lighter to reduce weight, whether you’re a warfighter or wilderness enthusiast.
Overall, the packs use almost the same cut, and have almost identical capacity and pocket layout. The main pocket on both is spacious, and the secondary pocket features internal organizers. The Fight Light Modular Operator has a single zipper pouch, while the Urban Operator has a multi-pouch organizer panel. Both packs have an outside flat pouch for quick access.

The Magpul Dynamics Black Book series
The Black Book series will be a collection of knowledge and education-based publications from the Magpul Dynamics crew. Each release will cover a different reference or informational subject, and they will dovetail into some of the upcoming video projects that we have on the way.
The first two installments in the series are the Magpul Dynamics Precision Rifle Data Book, version 2.0, and the Magpul Dynamics Precision Rifle Quick Reference Cards. Most of the books in this series, as with these two, will be printed on a rugged, weatherproof, semi-rigid material that can be used with map pens, pencils, non-permanent markers, or grease pencils, and can be erased with an alcohol pen or any alcohol based liquid, and then re-used, but remain waterproof until intentionally erased.
The Data Book is based on dividing firing data into bands of density altitude. The cards are filled out by the user based on your preferred ballistic solver calculations for a centroid altitude for each band, the data is verified on the range, and then in use, you can simply refer to the color-coded density altitude chart to see which color card and data that you need to use. The Data Book includes pages for cold bore or night optic tracking logs, known distance, unknown distance with field sketches, moving targets, point of impact shift with suppressors or ammunition changes, and general note pages.
The Quick Reference cards are sized perfectly to fit in sleeve pouches or most commander or quarterback armboard mounts, and are based on the same density altitude color code system. The firing solutions from the data book are simply copied onto the QR cards, which are then easily referenced in the field. The QR cards also contain useful information like Mil ranging cards, wind estimation, firing checklists, observer dialogue, reticle holds, and note cards.
Both the data book and QR cards can be secured with aviator checklist rings, 550 cord, zip ties, or binder rings through pre-punched holes according to the user’s preference. We’ll have a lot more information on all of the neat features in these two products in upcoming productions, or you can learn that and a whole lot more in a Magpul Dynamics precision rifle course.

Taking a quick look over the construction and functionality of the FirstSpear 2-pt QR sling. Overall a very impressive sling option with more than enough padding that I’d very happily use on my issued rifle.

Our new Reduced Friction Black Nitride BCG utilizes strategically located bearing surfaces to reduce carrier contact and friction. By adding in machined lubrication channels and surfaces in addition to the minimal bearing surfaces, reliability is increased immensely.
A slight increase in weight also ensures proper dwell time and extraction. A case hardened 8620 steel carrier with an advanced low friction Black Nitride coating is the base for this BCG.
We used a fully machine 4130 steel gas key instead of a MIM key like a majority of manufacturers, and then used grade 8 hardware with proper staking to attach it to a machined channel for proper locating and zero chance of movement. A case hardened 4340 cam pin holds in the shot peened, case hardened 9310, and Black Nitride coated bolt.
The bolt is Mil-STD-1816 HPT and MPI tested and includes a crane O-ring on the shot peened case hardened 4340 steel Black Nitride coated extractor. A milspec firing pin made from centerless ground 8740 steel that is hard chrome coated, takes care of the primer ignition.
