Enola Gaye have a 3rd generation smoke grenade on the way. Here’s the details sent out today:
At Enola Gaye we have factories and workshops based all over the world, we use 2 in the UK where our original concepts are born and we have 2 in China where we put into practice our ideas and bring the full production to life. Of course if possible we would do everything in the UK, but that’s not possible and altogether a different conversation so we will move on.
We have over the last 2 years been designing a brand new smoke grenade, our 3rd Generation Smoke Grenade. We could have possibility released it a year earlier but we haven’t been totally satisfied with the results until now.
The 3rd Generation Smoke has seen more rigorous testing than any of our other products in the past and this we can say hand on heart is by far the best we have produced and will easily be the best available in the world today outside of the military.
With new standards coming into force for all pyrotechnics in 2013 the 3rd Generation smoke grenade has taken into account all of the new testing and standards that it will need to pass the stringent rules that are being set out for consumer based products. How would we know such details this early on? Simply put, Enola Gaye management make up part of the working group commissioned by the European Government along with HSE, BAM and all the other contributing government bodies that are involved in this project. So it’s by no idle boast that we are ahead of our field. We have invested ourselves into this 3rd Generation Project in both time and money and the results speak for themselves.
RING PULL TECHNOLOGY
We’ve been studying this technology for many years now, trying to find a way to bring it to market at the right price. There have and are products out there which already use ring pull but never available at a price that can satisfy the commercial market. Yep we’ve spoken the dreaded word, cold burn; true this is an industry term and one that should be taken with a pinch of salt in most cases. Cold Burn? Is that like a cold fire? Well I suppose that is the claim, but seriously inside the casing it is burning, hence the saying ‘no smoke without fire’, but as with all smoke grenades it is burning without a flame. This is how all smoke grenades work, but the 3rd Generation uses only the best materials and workmanship and our latest design suppresses any flame so that the burning effect never leaves the casing.We have never seen any other smoke grenade stand up to this claim even though many quote this. The 3rd Generation produces a cold ash at most and this is down to the best materials being selected for our products.
VIVID COLOURS / CONSTANT BURN COLOUR
A deep colour emitted throughout the entire life of the burn, a deep, dense colour that produces a wall of smoke. 7 colours will be available.That’s it for now, we are keeping some details close to our chest, however if you are from across the pond this is the product that we are planning on bringing to America.
