The new line up of L85 Series AEGs from ARES is beyond impressive. Excellent replications of their real steel counterparts with quality materials and pinpoint accuracy. My personal favorite is the L85A2 AFV. The ARES Full Metal L85A2 AFV is a new breed of CQB airsoft gun. It keeps the same basic characteristics of the L85, like the bullpup design, and the top rail. However the little things that have been changed make a world of difference. The barrel has been extremely shortened and the hand guard done away with. A small rail section and metal shroud replaced the hand guard, and Ares has graciously included a vertical grip to match the rail. Additionally, a replica 4x Susat scope is included from the factory and is fixed to the top rail. A smaller magazine is included to suit the AFV’s smaller size and a little weight has been added for more realism. This is a great replication of the famous British military support and long range weapon; it features a full metal body and gearbox. Nobody can replicate airsoft guns quite like Ares can.
