July 2015 Welcome to Gunman Airsoft News

Dear Arnies Airsoft news,

We had an awesome weekend at Eversley with the Hunger Battle and Operation BBQ, with over 60 players attending.  Massive thanks to all who attended and the marshall team who ran the event.

Regards go out to James, who took a bad fall on Sunday and had to be taken to A&E.  Although his elbow was causing him considerable pain it thankfully turned out not to be fractured.  We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him soon.

This week we have a Gunman shop at the War & Peace Revival show alongside the boys from the Grange.  If you’re attending the show, don’t forget to drop by and say hi.

This weekend is our classic end of month skirmish at our Tuddenham site near Bury St Edmunds.  We are now hitting over a hundred players across the weekend, and the atmosphere has been excellent.  There will be a BBQ social on Saturday evening and a game on Saturday night as well.

Next weekend is the first of a series of open Battlefield themed weekends at our excellent Hertfordshire site – if you haven’t tried the site before, come and give it a go.

Regards,

Josh Smith

Tuddenham skirmish, social and night game – 25th & 26th July

With over 100 players attending last month, this month looks to be just as busy.  Free camping on site all weekend and a BBQ social on Saturday evening after the game – even if you’re not playing, you’re more than welcome to come and socialise – just bring something to put on the Barbie and whatever drinks you fancy.

There will be a late night game again on Saturday after the BBQ – the safety brief is at 2000 and we will finish sometime after midnight.

If you require a rental gun, please book it in advance as we only have limited quantities available and they are going fast.

Hertfordshire Battlefield Weekender – 1st & 2nd July

Reserved for special events until now, we are able to open this awesome site up for a few weekends a year.  With undulating terrain, woods, open areas, scrub and several features, the site is criss crossed with vehicle tracks making it ideal for 4×4 and light armour use.

Sadly, the BRDM2 is having a minor overhaul and won’t be ready for this weekend, but we are hoping to have a 4×4 technical with a mounted machine gun in play.

Games will be based around Battlefield Rush type scenarios, with multiple M-COM stations and rolling objectives.

If you haven’t experienced this site before, it’s just off the M25 near Watford, so it’s very easy to reach for everyone.

Loyalty vouchers will be accepted and issued, but please be aware that the walk on cost is £30 per day or £50 for the weekend as the site is more expensive to hire due to its location.
