A one of a kind on-gun air regulator, the HPA Ultra Regulator brings extreme performance to a very versatile design. SPEED Airsoft has been creating industry beloved regulators since 2015 with the HPA Pro Regulator, featuring an innovative ON/OFF air purge knob, lightning fast refresh rates and an iconic form factor.
A full decade later, in 2025, its evolution continues with SPEED Airsoft’s new HPA Ultra Regulator. Much of its DNA are shared from SPEED Airsoft’s previous regulators, making it the ultimate choice for an on-gun M4 V2 air regulator, something to cater to competitive airsoft players.
An unheard-of frame overhaul…
It begins with a hoseless design engineered from the ground up, the first to utilize the frame to deliver the air to the HPA engine. Gone are the days of fiddling with installation and servicing. Without a hose inside the frame, there is now ample room for the FCU and battery, accessible through magnetic grips on the side of the frame. An impressive feat only possible by rethinking the internal components, unlike anything that currently exists. A by-product of this is a highly serviceable design, making it easy to work with on the field.
Packed with useful features…
While the internals were rethought, the exterior of SPEED Airsoft’s HPA Ultra Regulator is by no means a slouch when it comes to being decorated with its own unique features. Features that are necessary to enable a more convenient experience for the user. A simple twist of the ON/OFF knob, located at the bottom of the regulator, safely purges air out of the entire system. On the front of the regulator, a velocity adjustor can be found, only requiring a metric hex key to turn from approximately 40-160 PSI. Slotted on the same side as the velocity adjustor, a zip tie can be installed to lock the pressure for tournaments and have it visible for referees. Lastly, behind the grips, rests the pressure gauge in the most natural place to see it at a glance.
Grips, grips, grips galore…
Releasing alongside the HPA Ultra Regulator are SPEED Airsoft’s new HPA Ultra Grips. Interchangeable and magnetic, these grips are fully toolless and with barehands, can be customized on the fly. The new HPA Ultra Regulator ships with the first design pattern for the grips, called Design 1, preinstalled out of the box. This design adorns repetitive circles reminiscent of SPEED Tunable Triggers, meshing with larger circles similar to the SPEED KV Magazine Release. A stunning pattern for the grips that is available in different 9 colors, perfect as an accent color to any build.
Customizable forever…
More HPA Ultra Grips colors and designs are available separately. Customization is now a breath of fresh air as grip colors and design can be changed at any time. Other grip designs will be announced and available soon. In addition, a complementary SPEED M4 HPA Standard Tunable Trigger is included in the box and is color matched to the grips.
Crafted and durable…
The HPA Ultra Regulator is CNC machined out of aluminum, a material known to be lightweight and strong. It is then anodized in black for a sleek and durable appearance. HPA Ultra Grips are also made out of aluminum and anodized in either Silver, Grey, Black, Gold, Red, Blue, Green, Purple and Pink colors. This product is made to last and is a true investment for any M4 V2 airsoft build.
