Real Sword Type 56 Series
The Real Sword Type 56 series rifles are without a doubt some of the most realistic AK series replicas ever created for the airsoft market. These rifles are constructed using the same materials as the real firearm so that they look, feel and even smell like their real steel counterparts. Their heart stopping looks combined with their tango stopping power makes them the king of all AK’s. Unlike other AK replicas that use aluminum, zinc or other mystery alloys, the Real Sword Type 56 rifles are made out of solid steel making them insanely rugged. Unlike its European variants, the Type 56 rifles carried by Shorty USA are equipped with an M120 spring which allows this rifle to achieve a muzzle velocity of 425+ fps right out of the box.

Real Sword Type 97 Series
The Type 97 assault rifle is the 5.56mm variant of the Type 95 which was a highly secretive Chinese assault rifle whose existence was kept from the public for years until it was unveiled in 1997 when China regained sovereignty of Hong Kong. In recreating an airsoft replica of this rifle Real Sword’s goal was to make it as realistic as possible. They went so far as to use the same exact materials as used by its real steel counterpart and even engineered a brand new gearbox to keep the dimensions of the rifle true to the real firearm. This rifle is constructed using a blend of CNC machined duralumin, nylon 66 polymer, steel and rubber giving it realistic heft and ruggedness. Fitted with an M120 spring the Type 97 rifles are solid performers which produce a blistering muzzle velocity in excess of 420 fps.
