Foxtrot 58 Airsoft are holding a 2 day competition at the end of November in County Antrim:
Co. ANTRIM AIRSOFT SHIELD 2-DAY COMPETITION Foxtrot 58 Airsoft, 27-28 November
Ten-plus 5-man teams from Northern Ireland and the Republic are already signed up for this brand new event, hosted by the site whose team won Bronze at the Take Aim Magazine cup. Missions will take full advantage of the many recent site improvements, namely the addition of extra bunkers, buildings and a girder bridge to the large rural area; and a completely rebuilt urban zone, "Killymurphy", based on the urban CQBR(U) ranges used to train troops for "Op Banner" deployment to NI, and featuring a Security Force base, garage with pumps and car, bank, post office, pub, church and a real maze of houses, streets and alleyways – see videos here.
Between competitive missions, teams will be able to play normal games, so the action will be intense and continuous! Or they can chill, eat or watch TV in the well-appointed clubhouse. Like to enter a 5-man team? Just want to play in the normal games? Then check out the event thread on the Foxtrot 58 website.
