image[3]The Citadel have sent in details of Op 187 which is taking place later this month:

Having put up with gang violence and illegal drug sales for too long the city has decided to crack down on its most violent gangs, hitting them when they are having a "Gang Summit" to carve up the city’s territory and cut down on inter-gang violence. The City’s gangs decide to meet in neutral territory at the old "Citadel Manufacturing" complex. They don’t know the Police, SWAT and ATF are planning a raid to capture as many of them as possible.

Rules may be modified and a full briefing will be given before the start of the game.

Law Enforcement Side
Uniform: Police, SWAT, ATF, and Detective look – gasmasks also encouraged *hint hint*

Restrictions: limited ammunition, only flashbangs no grenades, pistol/shotty STRONGLY encouraged.

Notes: You will be an ASSAULT force.. expect bunkered resistance.. use tactics.. use your special weapons.. don’t cry about choke points, its a building we can move choke points but never be rid of them. Do not sign up for Law Enforcement side unless you can handle being aggressive overcoming resistance.

Gang Side
Uniform: gang-banger, mafia, etc look _NO TACTICAL GEAR_ (battle belt ok)

Restrictions: limited ammunition, all weapon types ok if they fit standard Citadel rules

Notes: You will be bunkered and in a strong defensive position, you also will lose people at a rate greater than the opposition, your side gets points by how long you hold certain spots, and how many Law Enforcement you 187. You may lose all your guys; the question is how much damage can you inflict on Law Enforcement

Restrictions / Stuff you should know.
There may be Tear-Gas simulated by foggers which means if you don’t have a gas-mask you cannot shoot while in a room with Tear-Gas in it.

Ammunition will be restricted in terms of total rounds (fine tuned game-day for headcount) MIDCAPS ONLY (or ONE SINGLE HIGHCAP).

Semi/Full Auto – Almost everyone will be restricted to SEMI, we may allow a few weapons on each side for full-auto, and the decision will be made game day.

Breaching – Law Enforcement side will have Sappers who can breach walls in certain places or pump in Tear Gas. Those interested will be briefed on-site.

Arrest Rules – Gangsters hit must remain on the ground for 5 minutes unless their medic brings them up. If a Law Enforcement member gets to you they can bring you back to a location, you are arrested and the Law Enforcement team earns Victory Points. (You can then reinforce after seeing a ref or you can go see a ref to reinforce after 5)

Medic Rules – Instead of fixed re-spawns both sides will have a number of medics to keep the action more fluid, 60 seconds to bring someone back into the fight or you wait 5 minutes and wait to reinforce. Medics themselves have a limited number of re-spawns to keep the game moving.

Reinforcement – At certain times refs will allow "dead" players to rejoin the fight as reinforcements on both sides. This will not necessarily be from a fixed point. Reinforcements will be inserted where it seems logical and to keep the game moving.
