The RPG-26 Aglen is a disposable anti-tank rocket launcher developed by the Soviet Union. Pre-loaded with fin-stabilized rocket. The single-piece smoothbore barrel / container is made of fiberglass. The rocket is contained in the barrel tube, and its solid-fuel motor burns out completely within the barrel.. The rocket carries a 72.5millimeter diameter high explosive anti-tank single shaped charge warhead capable of penetrating 440 millimeters of armour, one meter of reinforced concrete or one and a half meters of brickwork. It has a maximum effective range of around 250 meters.
It appears to be a development of the RPG-22, which itself is based on the RPG-18, which many sources state is an almost direct copy of the U.S. M72 LAW. It has been further developed as the RPG-27.
