Tom of Airsoft Obsessed and Pyramyd Airsoft has just returned from his first visit to Shot Show and seems to have rather enjoyed the whole experience:
I, too, have thrown my hat in the ring for Shot Show 2011 event coverage. I figured the only thing better than explaining how I almost convinced two complete strangers (the “almost Bride” was from London!) to get married at 4 a.m. in the New York New York Hotel & Casino was to post up my first Shot Show update, which features the brand new Echo1 M240 Bravo Airsoft AEG that was on display at the JAG Precision booth.
I was only at the show for a relatively limited time, but my brother, Todd, and I still managed to cover a lot of solid ground. I’ve got over 300 photos and even a few words to share with anyone who’s interested in what went on last week at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I had the pleasure of meeting some very fine folks in the Airsoft & Real Steel industry, who shared some exciting stuff with me (even though I’m bald). Then of course, there were all the celebrity/VIP sightings in addition to pretending I was cool by getting to hang out with Thumpy & a number of other “known associates” (there’s even photo evidence on Airsoft Pacific).
And what Shot Show would be complete without (intentionally) crossing paths with a number of lovely booth babes? All in all, even if it wasn’t in Vegas, my first trip to Shot Show still would have been a phenomenal one.
I’ll be posting all my updates to my website, www.Airsoft-Obsessed.com, in addition to a few select posts on the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog as quickly as my teething, 8-month-old baby will allow me to do so. The direct link to all my Shot Show updates is here: http://www.airsoft-obsessed.com/shot-show.html
Thanks, Tom (Airsoft Obsessed)
