Hi, In the beginning of next month I will be launching a crowdfunding website for airsoft and mil-sim. In my experience there are a lot of good ideas for events, gear, gun innovations, etc. out there but not everybody has the funds and/or contacts to make their ideas become a reality. I think that a site that would allow people to show their ideas to the community and allow others to donate (in return for rewards) to them to make them happen could generate a lot of new projects and innovation within airsoft. That is why I built JoinForc.es, to make this possible.
Crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo have allowed a lot of artistic projects and other fundrasing campaigns to find the funds needed to make people’s ideas happening. I think a crowdfunding website just for airsoft and mil-sim could do the same since it is very a much a grassroots hobby.
