UK torch retailer TacLight (www.taclight.co.uk) has stock of the new Klarus XT10 flashlight, which many believe to be the best CQB flashlight in the world.
Developed using knowledge and experience from police, military and airsofters, the high power XT10 is a serious piece of kit. It was designed for CQB use and can be fully operated with one hand. In fact, just your thumb, due to the incredible user interface (UI) and innovative dual-button tail switch.
The first protruding button is for momentary-on, constant-on and off functions. The lower button is the mode button, which allows you to click through High-Med-Low modes. The XT10 always activates in high mode, giving you instant access to the super bright 470 lumens emitted from its Cree XM-L T6 LED. There’s no memory function, so zero chance of you accidentally activating low mode in a CQB situation.
What makes this an exceptional flashlight is the immediate access to the strobe. If you have the light switched on and need to activate strobe, you just hold down the mode button. For CQB use the strobe can be activated quickly even when the light is off, by holding down the mode button. So in a CQB situation, you can choose between the blinding brightness of high mode or the extremely disorientating strobe.
