Klarus’s new ‘Professional’ flashlights are serious high-power illumination tools that are both tactical and practical. Tough, reliable and waterproof, each light has been manufactured to military specifications, but sensibly priced for a wide range of users – including police, military, paramedics, airsofters, professional tradespeople and people who enjoy the outdoors and camping.
Each flashlight has a high quality military/ tactical feel and uses a tactical tail switch for momentary-on and constant-on functions – making them ideal for Airsoft CQB games.
The user interface (UI) is very simple – you just tighten the head for high mode and loosen for low mode. In high mode, both the P1C and P2A can punch 245 ANSI lumens of bright light across a maximum distance of 141 metres. The P1A (single AA battery) also punches above its weight, outputting a max of 150 ANSI lumens.
But it’s not just about power with these lights. They have been precision engineered to output a smooth beam pattern and provide good, usable low modes, which offer perfect lighting for close-up work. Mount one onto an optional Klarus headband (also available from TacLight) and you have a high quality and waterproof hands-free head torch.
