Flanker’s latest review is of the Ballistic Tsunami Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3:
Hello Arnies, Here’s a labor of love dedicated to double stack 1911s.
Since this is a "system review," included in this review are the following:
1. TM Hi-Capa 4.3
2. Clone Safariland 6004 holster: Glock 17 / 18C type
3. Blackhawk polymer double mag pouch: NOTE pouches attached to chest rig via zip ties.
4. A ton of background history on Tokyo Marui’s contribution to the Airsoft communities’ single and double stack 1911 styled gas blow back pistols. The Safariland is made for Glock 17 / 18c types but works reasonably well with the Hi-Capa 4.3 and clone 4.3s. Note that the double mag pouch is attached via zip ties because they were designed to attach to belts.

The ubiquitous double stack 1911 design or "Hi-Capa" is the staple of many airsofters whether it comes to milsim, casual, or even competitive shooting i.e. IPSC and IDPA. So how does this older Tokyo Marui design stack up against its newer clone brothers and competitors as of 2011? Watch and find out…
