A Lusitania-sized update from the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog

by News Fairy

Tom Harris of the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog also has some news on the latest from Corsman as well as lots of other updates:

Good day to you, my old friend.  Old as in, "we go way back to like last year or something," not as in, "you’re old-aged" or anything offensive like that.

I’ve been very busy with a bunch of nonsense lately, so I’ve not had time to share some of the updates I’ve posted to the Pyramyd Airsoft Blog on a regular basis as I have in the past.  But I thought I’d take some time now to check in.  I hope you and your readers have been very well.  Here are some of the latest & greatest blogs I’ve added since we last spoke.

Update on the Crosman USMC-Branded Airsoft Guns.  Wanna see what Crosman thought would do the Marine Corps justice?

I attended Operation: Route 66 last weekend, which took place at the abandoned Rock-A-Hoola Waterpark, which is that place in the middle of the high desert in Southern California that you pass on your way to THE VEGAS!
On Friday night, my brother-in-law took an HD time-lapse video of the sunset over the A.O. with his GoPro camera while we set up our campsite.

On Saturday & Sunday, we took some photos and I had him follow me around the field acting like an obnoxious idiot while he filmed me with the GoPro.  The photos of the event are almost all online here: Operation: Route 66 – Rock-A-Hoola Waterpark – Pyramyd Airsoft Blog

There are a few more photos that I’ll be using in a gun review or two, plus tons of video footage that I’m still going through, all of which will be added to the blog in due time.

Prior to leaving for OP: Route 66 last week, I thought I’d share some fairly well-known tips on how to improve the performance of Thunder B Airsoft CO2 Grenades since John Lu’s events usually involve many opportunities to toss grenades.  I will be adding an update to this particular tutorial, or whatever you call it, but it will definitely get new Thunder B users headed in the right direction in case they were having trouble with their new grenades.

I posted a really boring unboxing & unprofessional unboxing video of my new PolarStar PR-25 DMR.  But at least you get to see the gun.  I’d skip to the 2 minute mark though.  I’ve got to stop rambling, I know.
I attended Operation: Black Shield at the world famous SC Viper Airsoft MOUT Facility and posted a photo gallery from the event.

And last but not least, I wrote up a little blog on a very effective way that I keep all my tactical gear & boots clean after I’ve gone out to a game and drenched them in manly sweat.

I would also like to point out that Pyramyd Air has a brand new Airsoft-only Facebook page.
Well, that is all for now.  Hopefully, at least some of that is worth reading.  I’d skip the PStar video though.  It’s truly awful.  Just blabbering.  No action.  But I do have new footage in-game of it coming soon.
