Yosser has been checking out the new combat patrol uniform from Helikon:
Hey Arnies, Airsoft Odyssey (www.airsoftodyssey.blogspot.com) has the latest gear from Helikon up for review, the Helikon Combat Patrol Uniform, available in Camogrom (Helikons Multicam for those unfamiliar), Hellenic (pictured), Polish Woodland and Coyote. Made from Ripstop cotton in a 60/40 cotton, polyester mix this material should do you well for airsofting.
The Uniform comes with an impressive list of features:
- Velcro panels above breast pockets, for the attachment of name and branch insignia.
- Large Velcro panels on both upper arm sleeve pockets.
- Mandarin style collar with soft fleece inner.
- Chest pockets sensibly angled for ease of use with Velcro top closure and zip side entry.
- Under arm zippers for heat ventilation
- Two way zipper on shirt with Velcro flap closure
- Strengthened elbows with room for elbow pads (available separately)
- Lower forearm Pockets on each sleeve.
- Main button fastening, and button fly,
- Double layer on knee and trouser seat for longer wear
- 2 Velco closed slots for knee pads
- Main Cargo pocket drawstring, button and Velcro fastening
- Side waist adjusters
- Two way zipper on shirt with Velcro flap closure
- Draw string tie leg bottoms
