Welcome to Gunman Airsoft News

Dear Arnies Airsoft news, Hello and welcome to the September GMA newsletter.

Another busy as hell month just gone, August featured the Amazing WW2 secret missions event Operation Greenback and a very busy month for open days across Gunman.  Again, a huge thanks to all of you for your continued support.
We also sore the return of Mark Easy to the field after a long time off with illness, so good to have you back mate and loads of new player to Airsoft as well as Gunman.  So welcome to the community.

RETAIL – Target Action Supplies
The onsite shop is slowly coming together and with new toys every month, along with the addition of tack gear soon, it’s starting to look like it used too.  For any orders, just email enquiries@gunmanairsoft.co.uk with what you want and we can get them in for the weekend, or send direct.  Target Action Supplies is a standalone company to Gunman Airsoft, but will be using this email address for the short term and Target Action Supplies will have its own section on the forum.  Stocking TM, ICS, SRS, WE and KJ to start with.

Whats coming up?

EVENTS
Octobers NAM game, Ia Drang pt2 Broken Arrow, takes place on the 20-21 October at The Valley, GMA Eversley so keep your eye on the forum for bookings and event info.

COLD WAR – DOUBLE BARRELL has been cancelled due to poor pre booking number.  I have now had nearly a dozen emails and pm’s from guys saying they we gutted and were signing up this month.  It’s no good guys, if you want events to happen, you need to commit and £25 isn’t a lot to pay out as a deposit.  Another date will be sorted out soon so keep your eyes peeled.

Site News and game days.

Tuddenham news
Loads of Crates have been delivered (cheers Shaver) and more on the way.  We have a build day on Sunday 23rd September, if anyone can come down and help.  We will be clearing out the buildings, repairing and making new features all over the site.  There is a thread in the Tudders section if you want to help.

Norwich news
We are in the final stages of the Planning application so figures crossed we will get a result soon and Refs Adam and Mark have taken over the management roles onsite as well as running the marshal team.  So good luck to you both lads.

Eversley news
The Wild West camp is growing and we also have a build day on Saturday 21 September if anyone for the community can come down and help.  James Hubble is bring the digger down so loads will get done.  We are looking at putting a road through the whole site for 4×4 trucks to get around.  Also the final clearing of the old safe zone (now the LZ) will be done too.

New event site in the offing but no name yet.  It’s just of the M25 between junction 19 and 20 and about 165acres, so huge!

Join us for a day or two at the one and only’ Tuddenham Aerodrome’ for Filmsim Elements.  Camping if free and you can turn up Friday night if you want to make a weekend of it.

Tuddenham SKIRMISH
Join us for a day or two at the one and only Tuddenham Aerodrome for the End of the Month Skirmish.  Camping if free and you can turn up Friday night if you want to make a weekend of it.
Sept 29-30
£25.00 of one day
£40.00 for the weekend
Full shop on site and limited hot food will be available.

Norwich FILMSIM – October
Weekend Open days, Camping is free, so feel join us on the Sat night for beers round the camp fire.

General game reminders

FILMSIM
BANDAGES, for GOD SAKE– Again!!!  Guys, if you play Filmsim regularly please start bringing your own bandages with you. AGAIN!

All Games.
Can guys please try to get on site for 8.30 to get signed in and crono.  We are still getting guys turn up after 9.30am and even 10am which is very annoying and can put the whole day behind.  The nights are drawing in so we will be finishing spot on 4pm.

A word from the front.
Hi all, some of you may be aware of some issues taking place over the past few months (they have been mentioned in on the forum under general).  We have had guys claiming PayPal payments, when none have been made and 3rd party retailing going on.  New measures have been put in place and a new signing in system will help with these issues and anyone found 3rd party retailing could face ban from Gunman Airsoft. 
3rd party retailing is selling consumables and equipment for profit in competition to the official retailer at Gunman.

I’ve never had this kind of issue before or at least not been aware of it so a sad tale from the front, however with new sites and potential franchises on the cards, all is still looking very good.  As always a huge thank you to the guys in the field that make it all happen and you!
