The SPEED Contour BB Shield was designed to do one thing and only one thing, that is to protect the Contour lens behind it.
Before releasing their innovative shield kits which are also available for helmet ARC rails, SPEED made sure that their Contour Shields could stand up to the real airsoft world.
The picture you see here is the result of the SPEED Shield after being shot at 12 inches close range with over 1000 bbs by an AEG DMR at a velocity of 450fps in semi and auto. Although all marked up, the tough and durable SPEED Shield did not crack nor allow a single bb to pass through.
