The NEW RedStar AMD-65 AEG Rifle by Echo1 offers enthusiasts an airsoft gun that not only mirrors one of the most formidable assault style rifles on the market but a perfect primary weapon for CQB and outdoor scenarios. With the stock fully extended, this AEG measures 34 inches long but can easily be shortened to 24 inches thanks to the steel folding stock. But what truly sets this rifle apart from other AK style AEGs on the market is its integrated angled fore grip, giving conventional and southpaw shooters improved stability.
This AMD-65 AEG, which is based off the style of rifle used by Hungarian soldiers, sports a reinforced Version 3 gearbox that provides players with the power and range for outdoor fields. This assault rifle, which shoots between 370-390 FPS (w/ 0.20g BBs), is equipped with a 360mm inner barrel, coupled with a full metal outer barrel and receiver for increased durability. This rifle also delivers an incredibly fast trigger response and rate of fire, shooting 13 rounds per second (w/ a 9.6V battery). This AK variant comes with a shortened outer barrel and folding fire stock, making it incredibly lightweight and capable of cornering tight spaces. While maneuverability is its primary strength, this AMD-65 is well suited for shooting outdoors as well.
