We ONLY post this because the BLACK BLOOD REGIMENT MILSIM guys did a great job of protecting this player’s identity…but also because we feel this is a real CALL TO ACTION as more players prepare to hit the field, to BE PREPARED FOR REAL LIFE EMERGENCIES.
PLAYERS….do you know your field’s EMERGENCY PROCEDURES? How to get help, how to do first aid if needed?
One thing we DID SEE, was no Personal Protective Equipment used by the first responders (gloves, old first aid kit) before medics arrived.
FIELDS and EVENT OWNERS: ARE YOU PREPARED? Cuts, Bruises, Fainting/Unconsciousness, Heat or Cold causalities are a possibility every time players take your field. Do you have a PLAN in place, probably required by your insurance or local permitting agencies if you are a public venue. IS THAT PLAN AND YOUR GEAR UP TO DATE?
Use this as a starting point for your discussions at Safety Briefings this week/weekend no matter where you are. Safety…and BEING PREPARED….is the responsibility of everyone in the game!
