Platoon Stores have several new items in stock:
New in stock at the Store a great selection of Gas Blowback Rifles & SMGs from our friends at WE Airsoft Europe.
We are big fans of gas guns, not just the pistols, but the rifles too and in our opinion there is no better manufacturer of gas products in Airsoft than WE Airsoft Europe.
One of the many reasons for this is the 12 month manufacturing warranty with all of their products which are designed for skirmishing. Combine this with the amazing NUPROL 2.0 and 3.0 which are designed by them to work in some of the tough weather conditions we have to endure in the UK. Gas guns are no longer just a summer fling for airsofters.
This week we received in four more guns to add to are ever growing range of WE Airsoft Europe products, here is a quick breakdown:
The awesomely, amazing and drool worthy 888c, a compact and punch delivering skirmish rifle for any SF load out or CQB fan. Metal construction, 30(+2)rd Magazine, open bolt system and enough rails to mount optics, torches, lasers and launchers on. We liked it when we saw the pictures but we loved it when we got hands on it!
Fans of 416’s and their many variants will love the 888c and all its recoilly goodness.
The 999c is a beast of rifle and one of the lightest weight and most durable GBBRs I’ve had the privilege of using. Anyone who has been scared of the cost of gas rifles can stop worrying now, it’s the same price as a standard good quality AEG and our tests with Nuprol gas revealed that the you get extremely good gas consumption, no longer having to endure two or three shots and then the mag taking a dump. Just like any G36c variant the 999c still has the iconic folding stock and tri-rail front end.
Of course the 999c is not the only folding stock compact gas rifle though, we also got the extremely sexy AK74 UN, I won’t say much more than…………"HELLO! its was me that shot you and thank you for promptly taking you hit….goodbye!"
I thought we had been mis-shipped a real AK74 because its an outstanding piece of steel that feels great and just pull back the cocking arm and you’ll see!
As if they weren’t enough, the last gun we unpacked was the Apache K and in many ways it was the best for last. Surprisingly, it was quite heavy (but in a good way) many of the MP5K’s that have come and gone always felt a little plasticy and too light but thats definitely something you cannot accuse the Apache of being.
The best part is definitely the performance and with its Safe/Semi/3 round burst/Auto firing modes this gun puts a smile on your face. My only criticism is that the stubby mag is not enough, it empties too quickly and I have to reload it too many times, but I guess thats why they invited spare mags and longer mags and guess what? They are actually available in the UK at a very competitive price which mean this gun and all the others really are suitable for skirmishing at your local site.
You don’t need to ‘tune’ these guns because its already done for you by the factory at WE Airsoft Europe’s request.
In closing, these products are a real game changers and are out standing value for money for people that take airsoft seriously enough to get realism and performance out of their gun bags.
Oh, we also got a load of Katana rifles and AEG’s in too for those who are still to scared to take the step towards gas and just see the guys using GBBR’s that people talk about, rather than be the guy (or girl) that they are talking about.
Play safe and have fun everyone! -Jim, (Platoon Stores)
