Gunman Airsoft newsletter week 46 2016

by News Fairy

Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:

Dear Arnies Airsoft news,

We had a great turnout at the weekend despite the cold, wet weather.  Lots of intel was recovered and several of ‘Dog’ Masters’ lieutenants were arrested, but the Dog and his men held fast against the final attack on Sunday and are still at large.

Our first 24 hr MilSim also went very well at the weekend, thanks to everyone who came along and made it a great event.  We will be running another one soon, however, we will be changing from a security deposit payment system to full payment in advance.  See below for details.

This weekend we are at Eversley for our monthly FilmSim event – this time the Ghost operators must disrupt and track the cartel’s transports whilst avoiding detection and capture.

The following weekend we return to Tuddenham for our usual end of month skirmish event.  If you are brave or foolhardy enough, camping is free from Friday evening, and we will have a mini social with big screen movies on Saturday night.

Regards,

Josh Smith

Ticket & Pricing changes

We will be making a few changes to the way we sell and price tickets for future games and events.  We have decided that, despite rising costs, we will be holding walk on and rental fees at the current prices for the foreseeable future, we will also be continuing with the loyalty system as it stands, so we will continue to offer the same excellent value to our regular customers.

In response to customer feedback, we have slightly changed the advance rental ticket package to include a bag of 3000 0.2g BBs for an extra £5 (saving £3 compared to buying on the day).  We hope this will save confusion on the day for advance bookings, add extra value for money to the rental package and encourage players to book rental places in advance.  The discounted ammo price is included on all future day or weekend rental packages and is not available if paying on the day.

For the last few years, Gunman Airsoft has run open weekend airsoft events only, with our sister company, FilmSim running the full weekend, ticket only events.  We have decided to bring the airsoft events back under the Gunman Airsoft brand – so events such as Cold War, WWII, Vietnam and 24hr MilSim amongst others will be more obvious to the airsoft community and will be bookable via www.gunmanairsoft.co.uk by advance purchase of an event ticket.

Event details and ticket pricing will normally be announced in advance of the ticket sales going live to allow players enough time to get a good idea of what it’s about and save some money up.  When the ticket sales go live, there will be a limited quantity of reduced price tickets available as well as full priced tickets.  The reduced price tickets will be limited in number, not time.  All tickets must be paid for in full.  Full terms and conditions will be available on the website.
