HANDS ON WITH VFC!
We have recently had the chance to get look at some of the shiny new guns coming from VFC! With a new line of both AEG and Gas Guns on their way we wanted to see what they had been up to, and once again they did not disappoint!Avalon Leopard AEG:
Starting off we had the New Avalon Leopard Carbine AEG, arriving in a sleek black hard case decorated with an Avalon Works Metal plate on the outside which is a nice touch. (Only the VFC "DX" Range of Weapons come in hard cases!) Sitting inside the case was the rifle and its magazine, and the Pictures you see just don’t do it justice! The Weapon looks and feels fantastic – Rock solid full metal construction with a tidy Gun Metal Grey Finish which contrasts nicely with the Metallic Red accents on the Charging Handle, Trigger, Ambidextrous magazine catch and of course – the full size Leopard Keymod Rail system up front which gives this weapons its aggressive look! The weapon also features a sleek low profile stockwhich is spring loaded allowing the weapon to be rapidly deployed into the users shoulder! Customization is always key with modern AR’s – The VFC Leopard sports a modular keymod rail system in conjunction with a monolithic rail up top for the attachment of optics and other accessories. Internally this is not your bog standard AEG – It has been tweaked by VFC to include a 6.03mm Barrel out of the box alongside an enhanced hop rubber and Mosfet electronic Trigger unit for snappy trigger response!
Sabre Carbine GBB:
We also got have a look at one of the new Gas Blow Back Rifles on offer from VFC! The VR16 SABER CARBINE. Another Rock solid rifle! Constructed Entirely of metal apart from the Pistol Grip, Flip up Iron sights and the Stock, this GBBR comes with a modern URX Style Keymod Rail system with a black smooth coat finish. With a monolithic top rail for optics and accessories, the modular Keymod front end allows the user to customize the rifle to their hearts content! A Great choice for those of you after a tacti-cool gas blow back rifle to add to your arsenal! Handling and functioning is just like a real AR platform rifle, the enhanced charging handle makes charging the weapon incredibly easy. The Bolt travel itself is very smooth and has a UK Spec Nozzle installed meaning that this weapon was firing at around 280FPS on Standard Green Gas! (You might think this is low – But this does not affect the weapons performance! With the hop set this weapon shoots fantastic on .25g/.28g BBs. It kicks hard with an audible crack to boot! an overall great rifle to shoot!
