I went by Mad Dawg Airsoft the other day (located in Stanwood WA) and asked if they had any sidearms that work well in the cold. The owner, Chief, pulled out the EF 1911 and said it was the best on the market. I picked it up without a second thought.

Note: I wasn’t sick that day we just had a small issue with the mic picking up more noise than we wanted.

VFC is known for their quality, and the SCAR-L, MK16, is a great example of how well they make their guns. Externally, the gun is flawless, with a full metal upper receiver and polymer lower, imitating the real steel firearm. The gearbox is also great, because is features 8mm steel bushings, meaning the gear box is great for upgrading. This gun is worth every dollar you pay for it, and because it is fully licensed, you get a great looking gun with awesome performance. Be sure to check them out on our website:

This month the challenge is to create a slapstick comedy! For this and future contests, there will be a theme that must be followed in order to qualify. Videos must also be uploaded within the month that the contest occurs.

Not sure what slapstick means? Along with the definition given in the video, wikipedia adds, "Slapstick is the recurse to humor involving exaggerated physical activity which exceeds the boundaries of common sense." Basically I want to see goofy, imaginative physical gags. Think Looney Toons and you’ll be on the right track!

While we were at Game Pod Combat Zone, we wanted to use the buggy to try a new, fast paced game type. Using the Buggy, Bob must try and prevent the prey from reaching the opposite corner. One of the more popular game modes in COD is Kill Confirmed, and we wanted to try it out for airsoft. We split into two teams of three, and in order to get points, when you kill someone, you have to go over to them and grab their patch. Otherwise, no points awarded. However, you can "save" you teammate by going over to their body and grabbing the patch before the other team does. Airsoft is a sports game which is played by people, young and old, around world.
The age anyone can play this game depends on the insurance cover that each site has. Most sites in the UK, USA etc accept players from age 14, though many will also accept players as young as 10. I would advise that before playing Airsoft at any site, you make sure it has insurance cover for all players. Always wear eye protection when playing Airsoft, even if you are just playing in your backyard. Airsoft is non-lethal, no-one has ever been injured using these. It is not possible to convert these items to use anything other than little plastic BBs. Above all, Always play safe.

Tokyo Marui’s MK23 Gas Non Blow Back Pistol has been around for the longest time and was Tim’s first ever Gas pistol. It was popular back then and it still in demand now. Sure, it’s a non blow back so the trigger pull is rather heavy but it is one of the quietest pistols you’ll ever fire. A perfect side arm to a sniper or a scout.

After the first two games, the last two were even better at Bob’s Northern Resistance. On Feb. 8th, Bob stormed Antioch, CA for his Northern Resistance Rebel Training Camp. With 200 players, the day was an awesome day of great airsoft play and team work. Daniel and Josh commanded the opposing team, and each team had their objectives to complete in the mini-games. Today we have the video review of the Elite Force 4CRL Airsoft AEG, which is OEMed by VFC; overall, this is an excellent airsoft gun for the experienced airsofter looking for a quality M4 inside and out. This gun features a primarily metal construction with solid, quality VFC internals. Standard M4 features combine with such nice things as flip up iron sights, an RIS handguard, and a functional bolt catch. A major plus on this AEG would be a spacious full stock to house a large battery. Aside from a few hop up issues and an annoying high cap, this gun has an excellent performance for outdoor games. You join them as they are moving back to the last line of defence, if hit at this point, there is no respawn or medics, they are out of the game. Airsoft is a sports game which is played by people, young and old, around world.
The age anyone can play this game depends on the insurance cover that each site has. Most sites in the UK, USA etc accept players from age 14, though many will also accept players as young as 10. I would advise that before playing Airsoft at any site, you make sure it has insurance cover for all players. Always wear eye protection when playing Airsoft, even if you are just playing in your backyard. Airsoft is non-lethal, no-one has ever been injured using these. It is not possible to convert these items to use anything other than little plastic BBs. Above all, Always play safe.

I am getting my Reloading operation together. WHile this stuff will be reloaded for me, I do have my own setup on the way. Very excited about this..

On avg I spend .34 per round on Factory 9mm.
NOT INCLUDING POWDER I will spend about .18 per round by reloading.

This morning I paid $119 at Gander for Blazer 115gr 9mm (350)… Buying Brass, Bullets, and Primers has me at $175 for 1000 pieces of each.. Once I add Power it should only go up a couple cents.

TSgt Theriault is one of the AF’s newest retirees. He decided to spend his first week of Retirement hanging with me in Deltona.

Didn’t get all the video we wanted, the weather wasn’t good that week, it was actually cold (More wet than cold) that week. We made the best of it at Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club, as well as Gander Mountain Lake Mary.

More vids to come, with explanation of Platforms used and what we are doing exactly. Gonna take me a month to recover from the ammo spent that week.

My sweet wife surprised me with a camera.. Office pool or something from the Super Bowl… I’ll take it! No more using my DSLR for taking vids, this is a much needed addition. Canon Vixia HF R42

Over ten minutes of action filmed at Section8, Scotland in 2014. Lots of different guns are seen in this video, most are named when known. In this game, Blue team are defending, if hit they just fall back to the next defensive position and they are back in the game, no counter attacking is allowed by them. Red Team are attacking & must capture the final Blue base to win. Hit Blue players, just fall back to a respawn point, which is about 20 meters from the main attack & they can be back in the game within minutes.

Today we have the video overview of the Z-Tactical Wireless PTT Adaptor for Airsoft Headsets; overall, this is a nice piece of equipment that allows airsofters to have easier access to their PTT functions. Instead of fiddling with a small button, this adaptor offers a large PTT piece that can be pushed by just about anything you have available on the field. A convenient rail mounted off/on switch aids in reducing the chances of you accidentally ‘hotmicing’ (although it doesn’t work that great). Overall, a nice solid piece to aid in your on field communication!
