Facts:
The M1 carbine is a lightweight, easy to use semi-automatic carbine that became a standard firearm for the U.S. military during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, and was produced in several variants. The M1 carbine was not originally intended to serve as a primary weapon for combat infantrymen. Nevertheless, the carbine was soon widely issued to infantry officers, American paratroopers, NCOs, ammunition bearers, forward artillery observers, and other frontline troops. It gained generally high praise for its small size, light weight and firepower, especially by those troops who were unable to use a full-size rifle as their primary weapon. The M1 carbine was also widely used by foreign military, paramilitary and police forces, and has also been a popular civilian firearm.

Light and strong. That’s Troy stuff for your AR, 10/22, Mini-14, M14/M1A, and others. I always thought their TRX (and subsequent versions) were THE best AR-15 rails on the market: slimline, unobstructed, light, tough, non-rotational under torque loads, and they improve swing speed. Add in great BUIS and other billet accessories and they have a winning product line. And some cool people behind it too. Say hey again to James and meet Matt, two cool players who flew all the way from ME to shoot with the TNP crew. We set up Short Sledge Drill and make it happen, busy holiday season and all! With the PFIs and my son TacticalDoodle in attendance, the fun kicks off in Speed Metal Part 1. It’s a cold and sunny day. I rapidly embarrass myself on my first run by having to resort to a backup gun whose zero is questionable for the ammo used. Oh well, suck it up and future parts will show some serious redemption. Matt lays down a good run as comes face to face with the realities of Sledge (ok short Sledge!). We take safety very seriously but not ourselves. Some of the footage in this video dates back all the way to April 30th 2010 which was when I received my Contour helmet cam and first started to record footage. I’ve come a long way since I first started out, and a big thanks to all of you who stuck with me since the start. I spent about 4-5 hours editing this video due to the fact that I wanted to make the video worthwhile to watch and also because I had to scavenge through a lot of captured footage. Then came the color correction in which I had to manually color-correct every scene. However, in the end it was very worth it as I’m quite proud of this video. S-Thunder have sent over a video showing their foam ball grenade being used like a shot gun shell:
S-Thunder has welcomed professional reviewers to demonstrate ALTERNATIVE WAYS to effectively use S-Thunder milsim gear.
A video was produced by SAS Woodsball of Canada demonstrating an alternative way to effectively use S-Thunder’s foam ball by filling the foam ball grenade with BBs or paintballs and sealing the top of the grenade shell with tape which can be seen here,
By filling the foam ball grenade with BBs or paintballs, players have essentially created a grenade type shot gun shell which can be used for clearing a wide area in CQB, woodsball and other milsim games.
