Nike’s latest addition to the Special Field Boot lineup is the SFB Jungle. In addition to style cues that pay homage to the original jungle boots, the SFB Jungle Boots have a number of additional features for maximum performance in wet climates.

As with other boots in the SFB series, these feature a breathable canvas upper combined with mesh drainage ports. The SFB Jungle adds midsole drainage ports under the insole to provide additional water drainage. Additionally, a Kevlar layer has been added to provide puncture protection and reduce pressure on the foot.

Like the SFB2, these feature full rubber outsole coverage for fast-roping durability. The rubber sole features a 0.68 hardness section in the heel and toe for durability, with an 0.44 hardness section in the forefoot for aggressive traction.

With the Special Field Boot Jungle model, Nike has improved the durability while also increasing water-management properties. This makes the SFB Jungle an excellent boot both for waterborne or temperate area operations, but for general applications as well.

Currently available in Olive/Brown, the SFB Jungle may add a Khaki colorway later this year.
